Belinda
I've bought from Rustic Escentuals and NG and to me NG's is a little stronger. I don't think ICS carries it anymore, or she didn't the last time I checked.Belinda

Might have been my nose.
marcuset
Another vote for KY's (RE).

Belinda
I agree, to me it has a sweet creamed corn scent. NG's has a little more vanilla in it to my nose. But to be fair to RE, I went and looked at the sample bottle I have of theirs and I haven't put it in wax yet so my observation isn't really a fair one. I smelled both again and to me OOB NG's is a better smelling scent, very similar but a little stronger and with more vanilla. It could all change once I get both in wax though! )Belinda
B@BlissStreet
Re: Sugar Corn PuddingA sweet creamed corn, to me.Agree, but I definitely get a bakery scent out of it. It's one of those scents that you don't think are going to be well received, and then it shocks the sh*t out of you and sells like hotcakes. We even ran this on a couple spring fundraisers, and it sold great.

I remember thinking this one isn't gonna sell good I bet! I was wrong!
marcuset
No kidding...the first craft fair I did it sold like crazy. I didn't have enough on hand & had folks calling me back a few weeks later for more.
B@BlissStreet
I had a girlfriend that used to make freezer corn using a 1lb butter, 1 pint half and half, 1 9 x 13 pan of corn kernels (fresh off the cob). This smells similar; she would bake it off for an hour or so before freezing.
megandgarr
I believe I read somewhere a few years ago that it is a blend of cornbread and sugar cookie. I occasionally make my own using those two and I like to add a touch of maple syrup.
marcuset
I recall that as well, now that you mention it. I think a customer of KY inspired it. I miss Ms. Vickey's boards. Edited June 6, 2013 by marcuset
