Melanie Posted October 27, 2012 Share Posted October 27, 2012 hi havent been here in a while but I am hoping you can help me..I recently sent soap to a cousin and he told me he had gotten some of it in his eye and that it stings worse than regular soap... Any thing you can do about that? I have tested each bar with my tongue and it isnt lye heavy so... Also and I dont do this,,, a lady told me it stings when she useds it on her private parts... Melanie Posted October 28, 2012 Author Share Posted October 28, 2012 doesnt seem to matter what scent i am using.... and i dont use too much like 2 oz per batch of 8 lbs of oil. i will have toi check the super fast and see what i am doing.. i have forgotten. and thanks for the help. debratant Posted November 2, 2012 Share Posted November 2, 2012 I think it stings the eyes a bit more too...also tastes nastier when it gets in your mouth. I had a soap that I thought might have been too harsh on my private partsbut it must have cured out because I haven't noticed it again. I can't even remember what fo it was or the recipe. leisa2003 Posted November 2, 2012 Share Posted November 2, 2012 I superfat at 7%,..and I would check the FO you used as well and how much you used,...maybe try that FO at a lower percentage and let those who tried the "old" batch, try the new and see how they like that.
