1. what a cute family you have! Great job on the candles too! My favorite is the chunky heart pillar.
2. Very, very, very pretty. I love the colors
3. These are some of the candles I've made for Christmas. The First set what I've called Alpine Holiday (Candlewic's sparkling snowflake) the second is peppermint kiss.
4. If it's not too late to join in, I'd like to. It sounds like fun. BTW, I love the candles in the first pict. Not sure if could duplicate them, though. (in fact, I'm pretty sure I can't) Who made those?
5. I use a big electric griddle. It serves a dual purpose. It keeps several different pour pots hot at one time and I also use it to level my candles. It has a pull out drip tray that catches the wax.
6. Awesome Job! Ditto what everyone has said they are so beautiful and elegant looking.
7. Hi Judy. I'm an OC resident too. Unfortunately, I can't offer any suggestions for local suppliers (other than Genwax) because I don't know of any. Just thought i'd say "Hi".
8. Some recent creations I've been working on. The first set is scented hazelnut truffles and the second is jack frost.
9. I think they both look good, but I love the draped layered one.
10. Bruce, as always, I love your stuff! My favs are the first one and the Christmas one. If you really don't like that rustic angel, feel free to send it my way.
11. Thanks guys. I'm not sure if I can re-create them, but if I can I'll try to change the bottom and see what that looks like. I used 1343 w/stearic and poured an orange color about 3/4 full. Wait a little bit for it to set, then take a skewer with a few drops of black liquid color on it and poke it into the orange. Wait a little more then pour more wax (non-colored or lightly colored, it will mix with the liquid color left behind from the skewer) This is what I wanted it to look like, except orange and black. I think the difference was I didn't wait long enough after the first pour, and the colors started blending way more than I wanted them to. Also I think I the temp. of the wax was a lot higher this time. ( the temp. gage on my pour pot is broken)
12. I made these yesterday. It's not at all the look I was going for, so of course I immediately didn't like them. Now I'm not sure. Don't be afraid to be honest.
13. Very, very pretty and elegant. I love the clean smooth look of it. Yvonne
14. I Love Them!! The color combination looks great, I just wish I could smell them. Great Job!!
