  1. Unfortunately I haven't used LS's Bayberry, but I have used, for years, and still carry, Bayberry from CS . It's probably my top 5 seller out of about 30 Christmas scents. I love it. I actually burned a tester I made two years ago, the other day , and its still rocking the house down in 4794.
  2. Just to touch a little deeper on the "city and county and state laws vary " , if you are considering starting and / or maintaining your business from your home, make sure you are not breaking any zoning or ordinance laws. I've seen four friends have to give up their business ( different types ) because they failed to check into that. A lot of cities and states consider what we do more of a manufacturing endeavor, so there are times, they aren't so "sweet" about things LOL.
  3. Well its JMO but both are derived ( devired : obtained from an original source) from both natural products. They are both processed to the end products that we use, so I never have understood the whole "sustainable/natural" arguement that turns ugly and vicious. Pretty much the only untouched natural wax we have, that is untampered with, is if you go to a beehive, and take the wax directly from the bees. Again, JMO and I do use both and love both for different reasons.
  4. Support Farmer Bob or Support Deepwater Horizon... hmmm... para is made from the crude, the gas and oil that Farmer Bob uses to harvest said soy beans and convert said soy oil into wax... is all made possible........ by the same thing is para is made possible by. JMO ( and I do use both ! )
  5. ( this is NOT said in a snooty voice just dont know how else to word it ) How long are you gals wanting the scent to last? At 1/2 ounce per cube (give or take) I get about 8 to 12 hours out each cube. Using tealights.
  6. Try Fireplace ( straight ) or mix it with a touch of Oakmoss , both from BCN.
  7. I just wanted to chime in here about 4794. I've read that a lot of you have problems with it. Im shocked actually. I've used it, exclusively, for melts , since day one and I have only had three scents, out of literally ( no joke ) 362 that I have tested ( Im an FO ho! ). I truly hate to say this, but could it possibly be the FO's you are using? We all know that not every scent, from every supplier, works in every wax, in every area of the U.S. , ( I'm in Tn )so I was just wondering if that could be the culprit. 95% of the scents I have used, tested, and/or carry, are from CS and BCN and as I said, almost every single one have thrown like crazy, HT and CT in 4794 for me. Granted, I do test in tealight based oil warmers, and yes they do get hotter and hence throw better than an electric warmer. Just thought I'd put that out there. The only problem I have ever had with 94 is this last case I received a month ago, coming in as, and re-solidifying a tad lumpy when no other case I've ever had has done that. ( Im not alone in this and we all got our cases from different suppliers so thinking it was a bad batch that went out everywhere). Scent throw is still phenom, melt is great, it just solidifies a tiny bit lumpy on this run. Hope this helps some maybe figure out why 4794 isn't working for them. I would never put another company's FOs down, just saying where all of mine come from that seem to work like a charm in that particular wax.
