  4. Thanks for all the nice compliments... I gave them to her today and she was so excited. I will be so happy for her when her new home is completed. It won't be until may December or January.
  5. My mom found these They have a little votive cup on top. But the standard votives we all make are too tall. I may just pour right into the cup. Who ever did these is a very good painter. Something I am not I thought they were cute
  6. She lost her house during last year's hurricanes and having a new home built. So she is slowing replacing her stash. These are all dark green scented in Jasmine and Blueberry Cobbler I hope she likes them
  7. I use the zincs in all my containers as well. I have tested others and always come back. Right now I am testing some of the cotton ones from Peaks but more than likely I will be back to the zincs. Who knows.
  8. Your votives don't look so bad Atleast you tried. I love the ornies though

  10. Congratulations to you!! The first one is the hardest. After that they get easier. Hope you have many more
  11. With the 5 hour burn I am using an 18ply wick.
  12. That's an interesting method. I may have to try that one. Thanks
  13. Might want to get yourself a level too. you can pick one up at Wallyworld. That helps with leveling too. If I see I am not level on say the right side of the pillar when I level it on the griddle or cookie sheet I know to put more pressure on that side. I hope that made sense. If you get a leveler it does help a whole lot. I couldn't do it either until I got one of those.
  14. I have only done 3" diam. pillars and have ventured out to the 2 & 4" ones. For my 3" pillars they get a FMP in 3 hours but can be burned all day with the edges rolling themselvs in No blowouts. Makes me happy Okay so for the 2" ones I get a FMP in the 2 hours that you should but can only burn these for 5 hours at a time and they blow out. The edges roll in themselves. Do you in your opinion think this okay. Curious to see what everyone thinks. Oh and by the way I have a long way to go on the 4" ones LOL
  15. You know I forget what scents I believe they were Cucumber Melon (left) and Cotton Blossom which I renamed Country Clothesline which by the way since renaming I sell it like crazy even to those that wouldn't buy "Cotton Blossom" before. Go figure. Thanks for all the nice compliments. This picture was from my 1st wholesale account a few months back. I use it on my site now. Thanks again
  16. I use an old griddle. Some use a cookie sheet over a pot of hot water like this Leveling This is from Peak's site showing leveling a hurricane but same concept is used for pillars. I know they make special leveling equipment you can buy but I am sure this works just as well. HTH
