I don't think I ever seen one in the 70's.. maybe I saw something here on the old board! Were those the one you pour in a container filled with sand?

Thanks everyone, I like the idea too. The lighter outside will glow more, I have to do a test burn. Shell is made with a 5" saturn mold.
I'll start the test.

No dash. Please! As a web developer, this notion makes me cringe.
Also, stick with a .com if you can. It will cost a little more but is more than worth it as browsers today auto-redirect to .coms by default. Just my opinion.
Registered it without dash. I got the .it domain, the .com is available and every extension costs the same (10 euros) so I'm thinking to get the .com too. I didn't know about this auto-redirect in browsers!

Thanks a lot, you're all so kind!
Maybe I'm too used to perfection of paraffin, but that frosting disturbs me... LOL!! But I like the overall idea.

I like them too, and prefer without the dash, or everytime I should point it out. maybe I'll register both names just to avoid competition LOL

yes it's just a matter of costs. not that a domain name costs a lot I just don't know the way to go!

Hi everyone, I'm thinking to register a domain name since I'm back in the candlemaking business.
I want to keep it short and clear.
I found the italian version of scented candles is available. It's candele-profumate.it.
But, the too similar candeleprofumate (without dash) is already registered. I don't want someone going to the other site for mistake..
there is also candle scents, candeleprofumi.it, and the version with dash between the two words is not registered yet too.
I'm thinking about letting go the name of the business from the domain name because it would come out too long.
What do you think about it?
I'm tempted to register candeleprofumi and candele-profumi, that is the "slogan" of my business since I don' make only candles.
Any thought?
Thanks!

Hi all, this is an experiment I wanted to try.
I made a shell with palm wax, and filled it with soy.
I'm not really satisfied, things can be improved a lot
I also died soy for the first time and maybe the last, I immediately realized why the most of you don't dye soy.
What do you think?
I was thinking about doing outer shell in a color let's say brown, the inner in a lighter shade.. but now I don't know. I hate that frosting and that top so blurry.:tiptoe:

Hi all, I have some friends who plays in a kiss tribute band called "Delilah". One of them asked me to make a forever pillar for each member of the band. Problem is, he wants black candles, and the logo is almost black. Printing on transparency decal paper colors are transparent too.
I thought I could use the white decal paper but then I'd have to cut every single letter. Or make a background, but in that way all the good of the technique would be lost.
I'm posting some pics. I'll be glad to hear what everyone thinks about it.
Thanks for looking!

Redwood and Cedar: The fresh smell of cedar and redwood together makes this scent a favorite of everyone - Best seller!
Old fashion Sugar Cookies: Rich vanilla sugar cookies with a touch of brown sugar baked in.
Note: I have had customers who get a great hot throw with soy and others not, so either its the soy or the wicking that is the problem.
Vanilla Latte: This one will leave you wanting the real thing! Rich, creamy, and heavy on the vanilla.
Wedding Cake: Delicious moist white cake with butter cream frosting.
Note: I have had customers who get a great hot throw with soy and others not, so either its the soy or the wicking that is the problem.
mzpickles thanks a lot!!!!! You're wonderful!!!
