I am soooo happy:yay: ....well I made a batch of soap the other night and it sucked:cry2: but today I rebatched it and guess what??? It has to be the best looking soap I have made!!! It turned out so creamy and smooth, I cut it and cant wait to try it out. Just wanted to share....I think I might like rebatching if they turn out like that:)

Hi,
I have a question for you all. I have made a couple of batchs of cphp soaps. The first one turned out pretty good, second one wellll maybe not as good. What I was wondering is as far as the scrap pieces, can you rebatch them and use something like single molds? I dont mean to sound dumb but can you rebatch cphp soap. Everything I have read discusses cp. Just wondering. And how would you do this?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Look at this post, I posted a pic of what I use on top of my candle warmers for tarts. I got these at Joanne fabrics. They work great and only cost .99cents each.

Hi KMommy,
The heart ones is the ones I use. I got them at a supply shop near where I live. I dont think she actually shows them on her website. http://www.juliescandles.com/index.htm but she does sell them in her store. If you call her maybe she can ship some to you or let me know how many you need and I can get them for you if you dont find them somewhere else.

Well I made it in a loaf pan so it was almost completely set up( probably about 20 mins or so) ...just alittle tacky. Do you think maybe I should have pour sooner?

Hi,
Ok I am trying to make some soap for the mp soap swap, what I am trying to attemp is layers. I waited until almost hard but stick tacky and even sprayed it with alcohol. But when I cut it the top keeps coming off. I have tried it with a cpl different soaps and still no luck. Any other suggestions or do I just need to give it up?
So those of you that read this that is in the swap...sorry:undecided .....but they do smell good and lather really well. I may just melt the one batch down and just go with that.

Hi Soynut,
I have only made scrubs a few times but when I did it I used sweet almond oil and it turned out good, I also used shea oil in one. Maybe someone who knows better will help out some more but it worked good for me.

Thanks Cindy,
I did add some cornstarch to it and I love the way it feels. I will post pics tomorrow. I made body butter and a sugar scrub. I dont think I could ever buy any kind of bath and body stuff again after learning how to make it:D
This is so much fun and I love being able to make it whatever scent I want.

Hi,
I just got done making some shea body butter. Looks really good. Ok I dont mean to sound dumb but I have never used this before so be patient with me, when I rubbed it in my hands to put on it just kinda turned into an oil.....is this normal or did I do something wrong?
Thanks
