  1. OK folks...I just got back from Ace Hardware and they had the red devil and the Roebic brand lyes I got a cpl of bottles of the red devil. I paid $5.49 for 18oz. is that good? If so they had atleast 20 or so bottles left if anyone wants some I can get it and ship it to you. Just let me know. Angie

  10. Hi Tartaddict, I make the labels for my tarts and wickless candles. I put the labels on the lid of the jars. HTH Angie
  11. They make a medium that you can add to paint to paint your candles. I seen some at Joannes fabric. They may make a special paint also but I really dont know about that. HTH Angie

I really havent searched for her....when I started going to her she sold the waxes that I had heard about (astro.) now she is changing on me... she says they are really good waxes but I was just curious what every one else thought and knew. She is really helpful and it is nice to have someplace soooo close to me. But i just dont know alot about these new waxes. Angie

  18. I am one of the lucky ones to have a local supplier. They always carried the Asto. waxes but now they are switching to waxes called JCS.. The wax for tarts, pillars, and votives is called JCS 6391 and the container wax is JCS 6325 and JCS 1275. I am going to try it but was curiuos if anyone has used this and what they think.   23. I have just been using mp to make soaps....I am just starting to play around alittle but i would like to venture out. Where can I get lye?? I have looked at walmart but cant find any red devil....i will try lowes but is there something else that can be used or is there another place i need to go to find lye. Thanks Angie
  24. I use 1 oz. FO per lb to a 50/50 blend of J223 and 6228. I have a heat gun I will try that. Thanks guys:grin2: Angie
