  2. hi, it's stacy from day-star. my entire family is sick with stomach flu ... i spent sunday at the local er for dehydration. i am stilll feeling pretty lousy. ALL orders that were placed as of this past friday night (12/15) thru today (12/19) will slowly be worked as i begin to feel better. this is a nasty bug ... my son, my dh, my mother, and myself are all sick. :embarasse my dad is next :undecided since he is the only well one left, ha. so, please bear with me. i will get your orders filled as i can once i begin to feel better. remember tho, after 12/22 we are closed for christmas so any orders that filter thru afterwards won't be filled until we return in january. thank you & wishing you a merry christmas!   3. Hi David For refresher oils to use for potpourri or in ceramic lamp rings ... I cut my oil with DPG ... say 60/40 and this works great. I am not keen on adding oil to water, but that is JMO. hth, Stacy
  4. hi there, just curious ... has anyone had luck in adding fragrance to an empty wallflower bottle? i tried once upon a time, but it did not work too good, lol. i'd love to hear your comments or tricks to making this work because it would be so nice to use my oils to scent the house, hehe. thanks, stacy
  5. Dani... you've got something going ... How about "Pineapple Crumb Cake" since it has a good pineapple note? Has anyone eaten this cake before? It is a true cake name .. nothing sexual going on here ... just the name of a favorite cake my mother bakes all the time. :tiptoe: I'll have to dig up the recipe and post it - a great sweet addition for the holidays!   7. hehe I am working on a Marshmallow scent now ... it's such a hard scent to pinpoint. Some have too much vanilla or too faint to smell. I am working on it tho! Stacy

  10. ahh... sorry! you are talking about the presto pot melters. my melters hold 100# wax each ... gotta brag on my dad! it only cost $30.00 to make it ... the cost of the element. gotta love a retired welder with a brain that never stops making things! stacy

  12. Okay ... have no idea what these are actually called - to me they look like beeswax pastilles, but they are scented wax potporri. HOW do you make these??? They are so cute and would love to know how one makes them?   13. hmm... i am not much help ... i have 2 melters .. one for container & one for pillar you need to get your handy guy or dad or friend to make you one! lol that way you won't have to worry about cleaning the nozzle. who is "GL"? i am not with it this evening, lol. forgot to ask ... what size is this melter? my melters are on a 220 volt. jm2c, stacy

  15. i have a sample of this ... i called to check & they told me it is skin safe. but, with all fragrances that have a touch of cinnamon or spice - i use caution because my skin is SUPER sensitive and I will turn a lovely bright shade of red. maybe you used too much in your spray? that would be me.:rolleyes2 stacy
  16. great thread .. if that is okay to post? my fave at the moment is "Ile Flottante" from the dreamy desserts collection ... aka "heaven in a bottle" as one of my customers stated. OH MY GOSH! good! i want to drink it and not share any...lol stacy

  19. OH WOW! never thought about using the floral foam to hold my lip tubes in place. i am oh so very careful while pouring my lip tubes ... quite steady-handed, but the foam will work great! gotta get some now! stacy
  20. ahhhhhh! I haven't tried pistachio butter ... yet! i am such a butter-ho! seriously bad here ... i am buying ANOTHER fridge for my shop cause my one side by side is FULL of EOs, fixed oils, butters, herbs... goodness, you name it - its prob in there! where did you find this butter? did i overlook it in my excitement of a new butter??? stacy daystarsupplies.com
