Oooo, pretty! That vanilla stabilizer from BC in amazing, isn't it?
-
I would've never thought of using that to make the design. I thought it was some type of mold. They made a very nice affect for sure.

I can't wait to see the soaps.
I've never made soap in PVC tube. What did you use to stop one of the ends?
-
I have a couple of them but aren't real crazy abou them since they use mylar liners. I bought them because I didn't want to have to line using freezer paper but that isn't the case. The soap always seems to stick to them. Does anyone have any tips?

My votives has a great HT!

Did you look at their FAQ section? Kaila (the owner) is also very knowledgable. She could answer your questions about her colorants.
-
Woohoo! Another class.

Do you mean the heart shaped glass dish? I wonder how those would do for wickless? If the glass is thick enough and sturdy enough for sitting on a warmer. I don't sell but I was considering this for Valentine gifts.
The heart shaped dishes from WM are too big for a candle warmer.

Seems to me that they should've never moved their business out of California. Their service has been terrible ever since they moved.

They are basically the same as the one's at Walmart.

Wow, those are pretty colors!

Michaels has the cheap plastic ones.

Blest2BAmerican,
I use a metal screwer like a wooden Bamboo one. I swirl in different directions to get this effect. You will get a good marbling effect by going in circles everywhere and then I just do just about everything to see what it looks like. This one I made cursvie S's all over the mold and then I did a spiral circle in sections all over.

Now that you've told me what you've done, I can see the pattern.

I posted this on another thread but wanted to post it here so people are aware that you can report things like this to the FTC as it falls under 'Junk Spam'.

If so many people are getting e-mails from her she might be able to reported to the FTC for 'E-mail Spam'. Here is the link for reporting her...

Wow... Beautiful!

Sharon, read what it says again. I read the word "candles" when I first saw this information on another site and have a feeling you did to. LOL!
-
Beautiful as usual!
I'm curious to know what kind of tool you use to make your swirls? They are always so delicate looking.

Found some cat hairs in my candles....wow! Do I pour it through a fine strainer from Presto Pot to the pour pot?
Thanks
I once poured and discovered a couple of cat hairs but then realized they were from my own cat. I now make sure I put on a clean shirt before pouring so it doesn't happen again.

Plain and simple, I would be calling the wax manufacturer, let them know you've contacted CS and ask for a replacement. Wax is way too expensive for you to have to deal with having to strain it not to mention when you buy it in the first place you expect it to be clean.

Wow Carol, those are gorgeous! Lori would be proud!

Your ideas sound cute. Do you have pictures?

People are putting way to much FO in the baking soda if it's having that bad of an affect on the carpet then. Such a small amount is needed to scent pounds of it.

yes, it was an email offer from them. I get them about 4 times a year.
thanks!

Many people do not like lard in soap. You will definately be limiting your customers since vegetarians/vegans will not touch it.
