They are the same.

Swans has a store and shipping outlet in LA
I thought Swan's closed in CA.

Are there any good FO, wax, etc suppliers in California?
-
I wish our Walmart had a grocery department. It seems like people are always finding good deals at theirs.
-
Yep, protect yourself and get it.

Thanks..once I get all the reno's done and the store stocked, I will post before and afters.
Congratulations! I can't wait to see pictures.

It sounds like to me that you didn't get it completely melted.

Thank you so much Kyme!

Nice! Do you mind sharing where you get the blanks and branding iron?

I did one outdoor show in the Fall and never did another one again. Though the temp probably didn't get any warmer than 75 degrees, my candles melted and faded horribly even though I used UV Inhibitor. I had a canapy but didn't have sides on it. I will no longer do another outdoor show unless it is at night. In addition to the candles melting and fading, it got really windy a couple of times and everything got dusty.

I started with parrafin and then soy and now use a mixture in my candles. I like the idea of using soybeans because it supports the farmers who grow it.

I like the label, lid and twine with beads are great. The tag might work if you make it smaller and print on it (instead of hand write) using a printer. I like the decorative edge on it.

Maybe you can find something from this site. www.glueit.com
Here's a video clip on how to use the Glue Dots if anyone is interested on what they are...

Is that the same as rubber cement? You can peel it off and roll it up too.
No...
-
You can get it at WalMart too in the crafting section.

Wow! Your candles, labels and presentation are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I would buy your candles in a heartbeat. (I might have to find out where you live in Australia and have my friends pick me up some next time they visit their family.)

www.overnightprints.com makes really nice business cards. They have a nice coating over them which makes them first class.

I've only seen this scent in an essential oil. I got a sample from www.thesage.com, but their site appears to be currently down.

I like KYCandleWaxSupply too but their shipping is a little bit higher so I don't order from them as much as I would like to.

It is just so frustrating LOL. I added another 1/3 of a cup today. They are now down on my dryer getting some warmth. I believe I only used 1 oz of fo too...because it was so strong. I've got a good 2 1/2 cups of beads in that jar now.
I did a red hot cinnamon that soaked up overnight. I have done several batches...but this one is the worst.
I really use these things alot myself. I pour some in my trash can bottoms in the house...I pour some in my bagless vacuum right before I vacuum. And of course...I put them in my car. I just love these little things.
I make mine using 1 TBS FO and 4 TBS beads. That way I'm not adding a lot of beads if they aren't soaking up.

Along the same lines have you all noticed that oils with a high vanilla content or a mint scent take longer? I tried snow angels from NG and no matter what I can't make it soak in. I've added beads twice and it's been 3 weeks. Do you give up if it doesn't take?
Don't give up. Just add more and make note of which scent took a lot of beads so you know next time. Make sure you are shaking them several times a day.
-
Some scents just take more beads to dry out. There are quiet a few scents I make that are like that. I use the bead from BC.
-
I was thinking something in a light floral scent like Jasmine or Honeysuckle.
-
I've tested some shower gels that have a weird smell such as what you are describing. I don't like that smell so I've never sold it because as a customer I wouldn't like it.
I'm still searching for that perfect base...
