I just set up an excel work sheet and had them listed in categories by supplier. When I got a new oil in it was added to that suppliers section I would then add notes on testing with the final note being whether I added it to my line or not. I left it even if I did not add it so I would not accidently rebuy a FO that did not work.

How was yours I would love to hear about it.
We had Mike the Headless chicken here. I do not do it as a crafter anymore but I do stop by as a customer. The crowd here seemed really good but the vendor quality was not good for this event. I was supper disappointed. Almost no hand crafted at all mostly MLM or direct sales people. There was a few good ones but they seem to get lost among the manufactured stuff.
I take heart the Lavender Fest is just around the corner and the vendor quality is usually really good at that one.

Try moving your burner to a different part of your house. Air flow with burners makes a big difference in how fast and how far anything throws.
High traffic areas can actually move the scent away from the burner to fast and until the scent has built up you will not smell it as well. They same can be said for a room that sees little or no traffic you will not smell it till it has built up enough to smell unless you are standing right over it.
Your customers only ask that they throw well in a reasonable amount of time and a good throw at an hour is a reasonable time.

I am like Candy I just rename and label them. They are usually year round sellers any way.

The only colors I found that effected my burn was white and black. White because of the kind of pigment they use to create it is like a chalky substance and black for the sheer amount you have to use to create a true black.

If you are looking for a faster melt time you might look to votive blend over pillar blends.

Thank you I will put you in for it.

With a 1/4" trim I would say you are just a bit too big but you are almost there. For me and how I like my burns is I want that melt pool at about 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours on the first burn.

How short did you have your wick trimmed?

I thought so. I started with you guys will not believe this but gulf wax and string. They did not make great candles LMAO.
When I got serious I had fallen in love with gel candles. I also found out they had some serious limitation mainly being no one want to burn them including me. Soy was just making it debut not many people where working with it at the time. There was almost no information on it so of course that had to be my wax. Why I chose it I believe what hype there was, which is the same hype as today but I swear the propaganda has gotten worse on it. I did fall in love with soy. Even when it would not throw a scent for a week and frosted like crazy. I just loved the way it burned still do. I did eventually move to a parasoy of my own creation but not because of the burn or scent throw but because I did most of my shows in the summer in temp that reach 110 I was having real melting and sweating issues.
Now pillar wax was a tough choice I tried all the palms, soy and a few pillar blends in the end I went with IGI 1343 mainly because it a straight pillar wax and I could add any additive I want to get it to do what I wanted.

WOW ! Nice work DO you paint the stones - are they called stones lol ! Ive always admired people that do detailed, tedious work. I don't have the patience
I love the hot pink + black combo - really cool pattern !
Thank you.
They are not stones but polymer clay cabochons. I make the cabochons with the polymer clay in different colors to get a look I want. Polymer clay is it own really neat medium
