  1. Hi! I love love love those, and would love it if someone bought it as a gift for me, i dont think i would spend $40 on it though. But im sure there are plenty of people that would! Its just i have a tight budget lol. But they are adorable and I do love them! Maybe you could get the pans at wholesale price and then just buy some embeds but get some that are a smaller sized blueberry and that would take you less time than having to make them, although they are super cute! Anyhow i think it would cost less to get cheaper pans and maybe charge a little less. They are super cute!!

  2. Here is a pic of whats happening to the tarts. I poured hot at 175. When they set up, they all looked like this....sorry the pic isnt the best. I didnt even heat gun them this time, they just looked like this when they set up.

As you can see the bottom two have circular cracks, the top two look like some kind of wierd explosion or growth lol. I have no idea what the problem is. They wont come out of the mold very easily either.

  3. Well, I poured hot again, and tried to pop them out as soon as they set up enough to....they already had circular cracks, and they wouldnt come out. then they just looked awful so i heatgunned them, and after doing that, they get these GIANT huge califlowers in the middles. its awful. I cant even get them out of the molds either. So, its not going well for me. Now I will try adding some of the ezsoy i have here and see how that works. If it doesnt work, then who knows what to do next.

  4. Mark,

According to the thermostat in the living room, it says its 73 degrees which is what we normally keep it at. And the kitchen is right off the living room. However the laundry room is off of the kitchen and is not heated. So cooler air might come in from there. But I never notice it being too much cooler than the living room. Well, this is the third time i have poured tarts with it now....and i poured at 125 just to see if that might make any difference. They had a deep dip in the middles. and then they got the circular crack also. SO, i heat gunned them. When you do that they get MAJOR califlower look to them. No matter what they just arnt turning out. I dont know what the problem is. I guess I will try adding some pure soy to it. And see if that helps any. I dont want to use a wax that I have to add another wax to though.

Maybe I could cool them in the oven. Just stick them on a sheet and let them cool in there so no cool air hits them. I dont know. Let me know if you have any other suggestions, thanks!

  5. Hi everyone. I tested this wax last night. I did not have any luck at all!! I heated to 180, added 1 ounce FO to 10 ounces of wax and stirred 3 minutes. Poured at 160. Tarts were poured into a mini muffin pan. When they set up, they all had circular cracks. So I heat gunned them and after I did that, they all had a small califlower in the middle of them. So I heat gunned them again. But only a few came out smooth. Also, the wax that i had melted in a pour pot, after it set up....it has a giant crack through the middle....completely split in half. Well, that is my experience so far. I will try again and pour at a very cool temperature maybe that will avoid the cracking. I will try adding some stearic as well. Will let you know how it turns out.

  6. Hi holly, yes it did help. No the corners arnt square, I did try two rrd 34's i also tried two cd 12's neither made a full melt pool. Im not sure if two rrd 37's would either. But I will try. I dont know why i bought so many holiday type containers and are just now getting around to messing with them lol oh well :o

  7. thanks siberia, i thought of maybe trying three wicks because i love multiple wicked candles, they always look so pretty burning. the container isnt getting too hot at all, but they are drowning. So yes, i will have to try a bigger size i guess and less wicks lol. what size do you use if you dont mind me asking, do you use soy wax also? thanks so much!

  8. in the new container i am wicking, it is 3 1/4 inch in diameter. ezsoy, and three rrd34's well.....the melt pool is perfect. its clear to the edges...exactly as it should be, but the wicks seem to want to drown out. i know they arnt too small because then the melt pool wouldnt be so good right? Could they be too big? Thanks for any advice! :smiley2:

  9. Well, tonight I tested a orange chiffon cake that cured for 2 days. 8% FO, two rrd 34's and spaced them apart how you mentioned Geekrunner...i touched the tabs together and just put a slight bit of space between also. The throw cold and hot is WONDERFUL! And Wow...i cant believe how with double wicking that the scent throw takes off right away! I love that!!! It seems I have to wait 2.5-3 hours for the jelly jars. Anyway maybe I will move on to bigger jars and double wick, I just love the scent throw!! But, the wicks are barely hanging in there, and almost drowning and there is some hang up on the sides. So, i thought at first maybe they needed spaced apart a little more, but then they started drowning some....so I am assuming they just need to be bigger. I really am liking this double wicking thing though! So anyhow, i guess i will try some different sizes. I like how the rrds are doing in this container, no shrooms at all. I will try some rrd 37's and some htp 83's. thanks!

  10. Hi everyone. I was thinking of trying those candle parties some time...because I know of some people who would be interested in doing them. However, I am sometimes shy in person lol. I dont know how well i would do. Does anyone have any ideas for me? Any input is greatly appreciated! ;)

  11. UGH!!! I tried to use it, and when you set something on it, it just says 1 ounce. No matter what you put on it. I cant get out tonight cause its too cold and windy and i dont want to drag all the kids out....so I will go get a new battery tomorrow and see if thats what it needs, i hope!!!! Cause I dont want to have to get a new one. Its one of those stamps.com scales that you get when you sign up. But anyway i wanted to make some candles tonight and it isnt working. I dont know what happened. Hope the kids didnt mess with it. I tried measuring with tablespoons again for FO and cups to measure wax....man it sucks doing it that way again lol. Well wish me luck that all it needs is a battery!

    :sad2:

  12. thanks everyone yeah its soy and I have lx 12's, 14's and htp 62's and rrd 34's. I was thinking of trying two rrd 34's. The biggest wicks i have i dont think are big enough for single wicking this jar. LX 24 or HTP 105. So was going to try double wicking. Kind of limited on what I have at the moment. So I guess I will try two of the rrd 34's to start and see how that works. if it doesnt then i will get some htp 83's and 73's and try those. Thanks!

  13. When I go out and want to feel extra sexy lol....i wear Amber Romance from VS.
