  1. I use the same for my melts. How long does your scent last? Mine only last about 2-3 hours. Thanks!
  2. :confused:I use the 4794 for my tarts/melts and the throw is great for only a couple of hours. Then the scents gone and I have to add another tart. I'm hoping to sell these to friends who are asking me to but I can't understand why so many sellers say theirs last for a long time and mine doesn't. My sister-in-law currently buys Scentsy blocks for her melter and says they last a couple of weeks. How can that be? Would appreciate any suggestions.
  3. :yay:Looks great! Love your containers. It's great that you want to help beginners and others who wish to start a business also. There's so much to learn! Everyone on this site is so eager to help others and can't wait til I'm able to help others too! Good luck!
  4. [bHi ladies! How long should my melts & tarts continue to smell after they are in the tart warmer? I use IG 4794 and I finally have the right amount of fo but they only smell for a couple of hours. My sister-in-law is a Scentsy customer and wants to start buying from me but she said they do not last as long as Scentsy. Should I ad a little vybar even though it's already in the wax? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  5. This was my first order with Aroma Haven. Where do you look up your account to see your order and what the charge is? How do you know what they will charge your credit card if you can't see everything? This is the first time I've seen anything like that. Thanks for your help!
  6. That sounds great and silver would look awesome! Hope they work out. Do you order your Libby tumblers from them also? .75 sounds pretty steep but the quality of your work warrants it if it looks good. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
  7. Thanks a lot! I"ll up it to 180 and try that. I LOVE the scent and it's popular down here in Texas along the coast. Have a great day!!
  8. Linda, I replied to your email but I'm just learning how to operate that thing ha!ha! Please let me know if you received it. If you didn't I'll try again. Anyway, thanks for the information! Have a great day!!!!
  9. This is a BEAUTIFUL product and God Bless you for helping those of us on the Gulf Coast. I live by the beach on the Texas Louisiana border and people are still recovering from hurricanes Rita & Ike. We need more people like you who care about the people. I'm not affected personally because I'm not in that industry but have friends who are. I have a question, where do you find lids for the containers you use? I'm new to this and thought the oils were affected without a lid. Thanks again for all your help for the Gulf Coast citizens. Thanks, Mary
  10. I would also love to get the newsletter if you don't mind. Thanks! bmaryb0050@hotmail.com:rolleyes2
  11. Thanks nmhoneybear, I did not mean to limit the questions to noodle, because ALL of you guys are so knowledgeble and helpful to us newcomers! I'm so thankful for your help, I have not seen that much about this scent so was very excited when it came up! I love this fo and I do hardly make votives with it I mostly make tarts and melts like you. The fo is from a supplier only 10 miles from my home so I get everything there. It's the Melting Pot in Vidor, Tx and she sells all over the world. I add my fo at 160-170 degrees and like you I stir at least 2 min. I pour at the same temp. Could it be I should go up to 180? Maybe that's what I did wrong. Thanks again!!
  12. Noodle, I recently tried Frankincense & Myrrh and I use 4794 for my votives & melts. You can barely smell it! I use 1.5 oz per pound. And pour at 170 degrees. Should I add more fo? Thanks for your help!! I love this scent!
  13. Jackie, I'm unable to locate their website. It keeps timing out. Do I have it correct? fil-tec.com? Thanks!
  14. Thank you so much for your help. Can't wait to try it, I think this will work!
  15. Sorry ladies, I've been away for awhile and just check the forum. Thank you so much for your suggestions, especially Candybee and LeahRB. I'm going to get the 51z and try it. Also Leah the diamater of my jar is the 8oz jelly jars and I think it's about 21/2 inches across. Now that I'm back I can't wait to try all of ya'll suggestions! Thanks again for your time!!!
  16. Hi ladies! I'm new to candle making and LOVE this site. Could someone please recommend the best wick samples for me to order for my container wax? I use IGI 4630 and my supplier lives only 10 miles from me so I buy everything from her. She said wicks (50) 44-32-18z works with everything. It works great with some scents, Creme Brulee and Bird of Paradise, but everything else barely has a hot throw. I've studied everything you ladies have said and realize there's lots of testing which I expect, but I'm on disability and needing to supplement my income so I chose learning to make candles. They sell GREAT in my area in Pt. Arthur Tx. But do not have the money to invest in every wick with so many. If you could narrow me down to a few I could start there with the right sample packages. I appreciate any help and look forward to the new friends and someday helping someone else! God Bless! Also my containers are 8 oz jars, some decorative, and 10 oz.
  17. Hi ladies! I just finished using their Oatmeal Milk & Honey and cannot get a hot throw at all! I use 4630 for my containers with a 44-32-18z (50) wick in my 8 oz containers. I'm new to this and find some of my fo's from them do not smell while lit. They have a good cold throw. Any help would be appreciated! Love this site everyone is so helpful and friendly!!
  18. BEAUTIFUL! What a wonderful product and hope you sell tons!!! God Bless America!
  19. I'm new to making tarts and was not aware that the temp for adding the fo was different from adding it to your containers. Would appreciate any help since I'm new to making the tarts and clamshells. Thanks!!
