Thanks again everyone for all the nice comments. I guess centerpiece sounds better than candle, since the whole thing dosent burn but they seem to be a big hit for me so as long as they sell ill keep making them. It is alot of wax but theres numerous keepsakes out there made from all kinds of things . To me and the people who ordered one its just a beautiful keepsake of their special day to remember. My thought was people spend hundreds of dollars on a wedding cake and in a short time its just a memory, but they can keep their centerpiece as a keepsake for many years. Lin

Lynn it varies on the price depending on what each person wants on it. The flowers on this one are satin for instance and were $1.00 for each one, and cake tops range so different two but this one cost me around $50.00 to make .It does have just one tealite on top but i put a small light in the middle to give it more light. People seem to like the fact its a keepsake more than just a candle. Ill soon be showing some for baby showers and the one with the roses im doing for my daughter will have a fountain under it, so i cant wait to finish that one. As of today i have nine on order and im just glad their spread out in different months,lol. And Donita you have so much talant yourself as im still at awe over your candles and hurricans. Im still learning as i go along and allways learning something new. Its all of you that have taught me and inspired me to want to do better so i thank all of you that helped me along the way. Lin

tbear93 its no secret and i enjoy sharing. The gold label is a water decal and its made in publisher and just printed out on the paper. Nancy jo id love to make you a centerpiece just pm me and give me your ideas on one. I appreciate all the nice comments fron everyone and thanks for looking. Lin

Thanks again everyone, and Sharyl i dont scent the wax for the cakes or these candles as some people dont like them to smell. Saves me alot of money not having to scent them. The top does have a t-lite in it and the candle even glows when lit. Lin

Thanks everyone. Its a regular size cake and i use 1343 with vybar.I think its just the pans that make it so smooth. I dont scent them because it bothers some people. Lin

You are all so sweet and i thank you all. She came today and just loved them all. She took the cake candle and ended up choosing the heart pillar for the tables as i have to make 100 of them and the wax is alot cheaper than going with the gel and glasses. So many of you have inspired me with your own work and ive learned so much from so many of you, so i want to say thank you to all of you for your constant help and support threw the years. If not for this board and so many nice people, i wouldnt be doing these. Lin

Thanks everyone. The cake dosent take long once i figure out the design i like. I just kind of play around with it and get ideas as i go along. Ive got six wedding cake orders to do still. I started doing the cake candle for my daughters wedding next year and people that see me working on it tell friends that are getting married and word keeps spreading. The hard part is finding the right flowers for each person since evryone has different ideas. Lin

Made the cake and two different candles for tables so my friend can pick the one she likes best. Lin

That split looks great, just the way i like it. I allways have just vanilla ice cream put on mine cause im not crazy about the chocolate and strawberies, but for realistic purposes id go with the right colors for more apeal. Everything looks very real looking so great job. Lin

Anyone know where i can get one of these besides peaks cause their out of stock. Lin

Im trying to make a smooth candle but it keeps mottling on me and all i have on hand is steric. My question is will steric work by it self if i add more to the wax? I dont want to add more steric if it wont work by itself. Im useing 1343 pillar wax. Thanks Lin

I read the pigment dye works better but does regular liquid dyes work ok. Its hard to find alot of pigment colors and bittercreek only sells in 1lb slabs and i really dont want to invest in that much for playing around. Lin

Your hurrican is just beautiful. I make a 9oz candle in support of autism as my grandson is autistic. How in the world did you ever get all those puzzle pieces so perfect? God bless you for your support and for helping these children. Lin
