How very COOL!!!!! I am needing to get new incense supplies since I JUST used the last of my sticks. I normally got them from NG, but I'm going to look more into this company!

Thanks for the info on them!!!

  2. I believe I got mine from Elements. I think WSP sells them also. The dendritic salt REALLY helps the salts keep their scent. Storing in a glass jar helps also.

I like putting mine in a mini potpourri crockpot... mmmm heating them really throws the scent, but unfortunately burns it off pretty quickly so I'll just put a few more drops FO in when I can't smell them anymore.

    HTH!!

  3. dendritic salt I don't think you will be able to find locally. It's a really fine salt that you mix with the FO first. It really helps to retain the scent. And it really does make a difference. I didn't have any when I first made these and they seemed to fade quicker. BIG difference now that I use the dendritic salt!

Yup, I just use the good ole salt that we throw on our sidewalks to melt the snow! You can also order some bigger sizes online. Can't remember the name of the company, I just use the ones from the grocery store.. $4 for a 40lb bag... Can't beat that! LOL

  5. I don't sell mine, but you could probably package them in the bags for bath salts? Or maybe a glass jar? I am thinking that when I DO sell them, I might include some FO in a small bottle for a refresher oil...

    Dunno yet tho!

  6. The dendritic salt you mix with the FO to make the scent last longer. I mix those two together, than add it to the rock salt. I haven't tried coloring them yet. I have some candle dye but not sure yet if it'll work. Need to try that out!

  7. I personally LOVE them!! HUGE difference in with the dendritic salt compared to without. I have some on my desk that people are always asking what smells good. And at home I put some in my lil potpourri crockpot. LOVE them!! As far as where to get the salt I had to order mine. I got them from... I believe elements but quite a few places have them. I believe wsp does also. I recently used blueberry muffin from I think the candlemakersstore or something like that and it was SO strong I had to take it off my desk, put it back in the jar and wrap it in a baggie and could still smell it. LOL

  8. If you want to make a clear one, you can make your own. I use the EO/FO modifier from WSP to make clear body sprays. I use a colored bottle for my linen sprays (I make a home brew, and recently bought the odor eliminator from NG). When I make my home brew, I use poly 20 because it's cheaper than the modifier, and you use less. If you are concerned with the milkiness of the odor eliminator, you could use a colored or aluminum bottle.

  9. I cut mine 50/50 also for incense and for oils to burn. Sometimes too, I have to increase the amount of DPG. (also at the request of my honey lol) I think if you burned straight FO it would not only burn too fast, but also smoke. I love making warmer oils. It is so easy to refresh them too and they do seem to last quite a while! I also like making scented rock salt and burning those in my potpourri burner. I recently made some with blueberry muffin FO and it was so strong I had to unplug it and hide it in another room LOL Talk about hot throw overload!!

I did see a supplier, can't remember off the top of my head now, who has a recipe for warmer oils. They say to add water to the burner than the dpg/fo mix. Yeah, I think I'll pass on that! Water burns WAY too quickly, and the whole water/oil thing!

  10. Ohhh fabric softner scents are my FAVORITE!! I've tried NG Country Clothesline (smells like Downey April Fresh), NG Clean Breeze (Smells like Downy Clean Breeze), NG Island Fresh (Smells like one of the Gain ones), Elements Clean Sheets, and BCN Clean Cotton. The BCN is my favorite. It smells to me JUST like Gold Canyon Clean Sheets.

    Hope that helps!

  11. I apologize if this has been talked about. I tried a search and didn't find anything. I have a friend who LOVES the smell of patchouli (gag) but her husband doesn't. She wants me to come up with some sort of mix that will appease her husband, but still give her the patchouli she loves. (I have the FO, not the EO). I don't have very many single note FO's so I would probably have to order something. I just don't know where to start since I can't stand the scent. Anyone have any good recommendations for me???

    Thanks!

  12. I have the WSP GMH lotion, and Aquatech. They are so different that I can have both. The WSP lotion leaves a powdery feel (which I do NOT like, but so many others do), and the Aquatech is more moisturizing. I ADORE the Aquatech. I haven't ordered it since they cut out the included s/h. I am at a crossroads because now it's going to cost over $40 for the gallon. I adore it so I REALLY want it even if just for myself, but that cost is painful!
