  1. I am considering adding body creams to my candle line in time for Christmas and I have no idea where to purchase body cream base. I live in Texas, so any good suppliers in my area would be even better, because of freight. Thank you in advance for you help.
  2. I also have someone that wants their Warm and Cozy if anyone has any idea what would be a dupe of it. Thanks, E
  3. Thank you so much. I have actually just recently started using KY and so far am really impressed. I will definitely try that sample. Their Pumpkin Pie and Birthday Cake are both really good. Do you have any other favorites from them? Thanks again. E
  4. I have been forever seeking a really good "Fresh Linen" scent. They are either all too perfumey or you can't smell them when they burn. I LOVE Scentsy's CLEAN BREEZE and I would love to know who they buy their fragrance oils from. If not does anyone know of a wonderful Fresh Linen Scent and from what supplier? Thank you in advance. Elizabeth
  5. I am currently selling the Candle Warmers Illuminated Warmers. I have just started selling them and already, one had a bad bulb, one had bad wiring, one is loose where the bulb screws in and one had a chip in the ceramic. In my opinion that is a few too many problems for the first 10 I have sold. So I am back searching for the best warmers. Please, any suggestions. The one good thing I will say is that they have very good Customer Service. I appreciate any help. Elizabeth
  6. So how do you mix room spray? How much fragrance oil and room spray base do you use? And what is a good room spray base, from which company? Also, does anyone know how to mix body cream? How much cream base to how much fo?
  7. Also, how much are you able to up your fo?
  8. What type of container wax do you use for your tarts, if you don't mind me asking?
  9. How much fragrance oil per pound do you use with the Candle Source wax?
  10. So the wax from Candlesource that you like the best is just called Container wax? Does it have a number or anything?
  11. What is the appearance of those two waxes? Is it creamy or are the colors bold?
  12. How much fragrance oil do you use per pound of wax with the Ecosoya PB?
  13. I checked on line and the CBL129 and the IGI4786 are both listed as container waxes. Do you have any problem with them releasing from the molds?
  14. I am using the Ky Parasoy and my complaint about it is that it has an odor that interferes with some of my scents. Most especially my Mexican Vanilla and my Sugar Cookie. What wax do you use from Candle Source? The one you use from CandleWic is the CBL129? And when you tweek them, what does that mean? I am new at this, and want them to be great before I get too crazy promoting them with my customers. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot. Also, how much scent per pound of wax do you use for your tarts? Thank you so much for replying. Elizabeth
  15. O.k. everybody, chime in. What wax makes the best clamshell tarts? I want it to have a creamy appearance, if possible, great scent throw and easy release. I don't want much. hee hee. I really appreciate any help. I am not convinced the one I am using is great. And please, include where I can purchase whatever wax you like. I am in Texas so any supplier near me would be awesome to cut down on freight. Thank you in advance for your help. Sincerely, Elizabeth
  16. Thank you. I do business with them. E
  17. Has anyone noticed that the lightbulb emits a strange odor? I don't know if it is just the one I am using or if they all have this weird smell while burning.
  18. I have been using the KY Parasoy tart wax after reading that it was predominantly the favorite with all of you. My question is, do any of you notice that this wax has a strange odor that can be detected when using in the illuminated warmers? I notice it changes the smell of Vanilla scents most especially. I remember seeing in other threads that there is a 444 or a 446 wax that is also very popular, and I was wondering what brand they are. Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Elizabeth
  19. I am still wondering if there is some reason why I should not use the same wax I use for my candles for my tarts. Do certain "tart" waxes hold the scent for more uses or hold the scent longer or is there any reason the ones you mention like the KY or 416 or 444 or whatever is specifically for tarts and works better in that product? I am just now getting ready to start making these and want to have all the best info before I start buying anything. Thank you, Elizabeth
  20. Is there some reason why I need to use a special wax for tarts? Is it not o.k. to use the same wax I use for my candles? Thank you in advance. I so appreciate the advice.
  21. Thank you for all the great information. I have just been turned on to this forum and I just love and appreciate having all this great help and advice from all you pros. Have a great weekend. By the way who is KY and Impact? Thanks again. Elizabeth
  22. What is it about the KY that makes it superior for tarts over the IGI 4627?
  23. I just googled clamshells and the cheapest I could find was $37.50 for 100. Does anyone know of a more reasonable supplier? Thanks, E
