    You will do just fine, it is always exciting to do your first show!! the one piece of advice I can give to you is appreciate every sell you make, every dollar you put in your pocket and dont listen to the other vendors who arent doing well! I told hubby when we first started if I ever started to gripe the way some of them do It was time to quit, because it was no longer fun if you get to that point...Smile and Sell, Sell, Sell!! GOOD LUCK:D

    Well tell me....was it as easy as everyone says? We ordered a mold a couple of days ago and are awaiting it before we make our first batch!

    hmmm must be nice...I must have gotten stretch marks for everyone!!! Of course my first child was 10# and my second was 8# 12 oz...so guess there wasnt much of a chance I wouldnt get them!:embarasse

    well believe it or not he is just as involved as I am..maybe even more!! He loves this business... He ordered a mold from Misty Creek..of course he goes for the gusto and ordered the 32 bar mold...I hope it is a good one, I had noticed someone else had asked a few days ago about this mold and everyone says it is a good one...guess we shall see!! I am quite positively sure I will be bugging everyone on here asking questions...I am a dummy when it comes to this part of it..This is our first B&B product!!

    Well after going to the TX Candlemakers Conference..I finally decided to bite the bullet and try my hand at CP Soaps!! I am really excited about trying this..hubby ordered me a mold today and being he is my R&D I believe he has been on the internet all day, Of course Diane, JoyD & Rachel helped my cause this weekend b/c I have been trying to convince him that we needed to add this to our line! Thanks to you girls for your help..I probably will be hollering for some help and ask many many questions...Hope I dont blow the house up since I am married to a fireman!!

    First of all...I would like to personally say a great big THANK YOU to JT. She puts in so much time and effort to get this coferece together. Of course, we have came back and have decided to start making CP Soap!! Thanks to Diane, JoyD & Rachel they have convinced us that we can do it!! :highfive: We had such a great time and are already making our plans for next year. I really liked the location of this yrs..oppossed to the first one!! We had so much room and could hear everything that was going on!. Once again JT if there is anything I can do next yr to help, you know how to find me!!

    We came across this white Cargo trailer 8' x 20' with an A/C, and got it for a bargain, just couldn't pass it up! I had a 6 x 14 and it was black no a/c and man it would get soooo hot in there...now I dont have to worry about losing my stock!!:rolleyes2

    Hey Christina , in response to your question, we still do our regular show each month, however we just dont put out as much stock. I am fortunate that my cargo trailer is air conditioned and we leave much stock inside, just makes restockinng more often but hey that way I dont lose any of my stock!! You know here in Texas how hot it gets..thank goodness for A/C.

    Ginger I am so sorry to hear about your daughter's accident, I hope they are both ok. I can only imagine how scared they must have been...I dont know if I could have contiued on my trip after that!! I hope all goes well and she finds a place to live and get back to Texas! You know once a Texan always a Texan!!

    Ginger...I get Mexican Vanilla from Starville in Tyler...which is pretty close to Gladewater also! I also use Vanilla crunch from WnW, it is pretty good..has been a very good seller for me, but lately kinda slacked a little..When is your daughter coming through?

    We use WnW all the time...there have been very few FO that I wasnt pleased with. Of course they have a geat Creme Brulee, Butt Naked, Raisin Rum, Country Clothesline, Daffodil Fields, Love Spell , Med Fig and on and on..i can honestly say that I am more than pleased with most things I get from them..they even print my labels for me! I am fortunate they are local for me and I dont have to pay shipping.

Inkjet Gold Foil Labels We used to get them from them...but we get ours printed now..we found that we get them printed just as cheap as we can buy them and do the work ourselves...we get them printed at Wix n Wax Online, your #1 source for candle-making products They will even design them for you!

    I am sorry that your show wasnt what you wanted it to be. I know that I do the same show each month (first weekend) and so far this year has been a little above last year. I just dont understand why other vendors want to bad talk each other! This is the way I look at it, my product will speak for itself. Keep your head up and shoulders rolled back things will get better!

    I use liquid dye also, the ratio is 4 drops Ivory/2 drops Brown which makes it a caramel color. Oops I should tell you that is per 4# of Wax

    I make mine yellow also, I was just giving you a formula for Teal! I make my Sex on the Beach this teal color:D

    I mix blue & green to get a teal color...you might try that, I think yellow and blue will get green

    I know they had so many requests that they ran out of some things. Be patient they will get them out to you I know she said the other day they were just getting things restocked! Believe me it is well worth the wait!
