  1. those look great Tucker, I had to put my pictures on the front like that for the last two hurricnes as I just couldn't get them embedded in the wax. I may do more like that. You can certainly see the pictures better. Good Job
  2. I am looking for Warm Baked Bread that smells like Yeast Bread baking. I have tried several but they don't have that wonderful smell of yeast bread. What does MIllcreeks smell like. Haven't tried theirs yet.

  6. that was one of the problems I had too. The picture was cracking. After talking to Donita( You are so great, Girl) I warmed up the water. It is 65 too so warmed to 80. I worked 5 days on 2 hurricanes. They are out the door now.

  9. thanks everyone for the compliments. That means so much to me. i have the problem with the whipped wax solved but have another problem so am trying to solve it now. I am beginning to think it is the wax. I have not changed anything but wax. See me other post.
  10. Okay need more help. I have made alot of hurricanes and never had this happen over and over again. I am not doing anything different except I am using Peaks new High melt point wax. It is coming loose in the same place every time. Am I working too fast or do you think it is the wax. Please help I have two hurricanes to go and I am getting frustrated.
  11. I love it. Was that a latex mold? I have some molds similar to that. I will have to get them out and play with them. Decorations are so neat. Love your chicken border too
  12. okay I dipped the just the grubby part and it helped alot. It wasn't too hard. I will try some of the suggestions you all gave. Thanks so much.
  13. thanks everyone. I am going to try dipping it or maybe pouring the wax over it being very careful around the picture. I will let you know Lin if it works. mhardy1234 --- I made the hurricane in a 4x4 mold, once it was cooled and everything I melted wax and whipped it and used a fork to put it on then sprinkled it with glitter. Love that glitter!!!
  14. First one turned out great. Second one has whipped wax but it keeps falling off. How do I fix that?

  16. I have a hard time talking in front of people so I am doing Open Houses. That way I can talk to acouple people at a time and it is less stressful for me. Just have your hostess have it for acouple hours like mine was 2-4pm on a Saturday afternoon.
  17. Sweetcakes is the only place I found it but had a order for it so I got 2 oz. Wow, does it smell wonderful. Don't know what Bath and Body's smell like or how close it is but it is goooooooood.
  18. Everything looks wonderful Gerrie. Sorry about the show but you did really good on your open house. What are in the containers on the tarts, votive, and tealight page. They look great.
