  1. I use Peak liquid dyes and I LOVE them. I don't know how I ever did without them before. A 1oz bottle lasts a long time for me. I have dyes that I purchased over a year ago and still have half a bottle left. I only have to use about 1-2 drops per pound of wax for a good dark color and even less than that if I'm going for pastel.
  2. Do you trim the wick before you light it? I have that problem if my wick is too long when I first light it. That's the only thing I can think of, I'm sure someone else will come along with more help.
  3. Thanks LaVida. I will be looking into that
  4. ah-soy is right. I tried putting mine in a ziploc bag and what happened was the tarts didn't have the same scent throw but boy the bag sure did even after I removed the tarts I could never get the smell out of the bag. Now I have a couple storage boxes I put them in.
  5. Is peak liquid dyes b&b safe? What do you all use for bath bomb colorant? I made some bombs the other night and used food coloring but what was supposed to be purple was very light pink
  6. When I am not using a wick pin then I wick the mold and take a hot glue gun and glue all around the hole and the wick. I have never had an issue with leaking wax this way and I've been doing it this way for 2 yrs. Once the candle is done I just simply peel the glue away from the mold and wick. HTH
  7. My ex sis-in-law asked me to make her a layered candle with cinnamon and buttered popcorn. To me that is just a weird combination.
  8. wow, I burned mine the next day and the scent throw was totally amazing. I even used a smaller wick and didnt get a good melt pool but the scent was over powering. I have a HUGE living room that I was burning it in and could smell it all the way in the kitchen. I can't imagine what it will do when I get a bigger melt pool.
  9. I have had no wet spots but have had one jar slightly frost. It wasnt very much though. So far I am loving this wax but having a difficult time with wicking.
  10. Cinnamon from Peak is the best IMO! It smells just like the real deal and the throw is AWESOME!
  11. I don't know about Italy but here we have thrift stores and we always see old aluminum coffee pots people use for camping and they are really cheap, they work great as pouring pots. Also you can use glass coffee carafes as well.
