  1. splurging? buy one of EVERYTHING!! lol
  2. would gb 415 be cosmetic safe for this recipe?
  3. Stella makes a great point about shipping costs and overall costs. I use 415 but have tested the c-1 and c-3. I can get all 3 of these relatively close to me to save on shipping costs but both the c-1 and c-3 are about $20 more per case. The c-1 was alright just like any other wax it has its troubles. I really liked the c-3 especially for nice silky looking tops but couldnt justify the 40% more per case vs the 415. Everyone has to make their own opinion about what they are looking for in a wax and at what cost.
  4. I have ordered from them twice and it takes about a week, I order other supplies from companies farther away at the same time and they always get here 1-3 days sooner than the scentsations order. Not sure why your not getting a response from them they are usually ok on that part.
  5. I agree with the stirring too quickly check that and also one thing I have noticed is some batches just have more air in the wax. If you watch it as it melts you will see a huge difference between batches. Try tapping them lightly as they are cooling a little to try and push out and pop some of those air bubbles.
  6. I agree 100%. I have read a wealth of information from here and tons of supplier sites. Still have yet to get to them all yet but I probably will sooner or later. I do tons of research on things.
  7. Thanks for the reply. I had seen the state one and it had a packaging supplier was all. I have tried to google it but just couldnt seem to find anything. I would even take a candle shop that retails supplies just to cut out the wait. When I get new ideas for silly things I just want to do them now lol.
  8. I am new to posting here but have read lots of great posts and the wealth of info you all have. I was wondering if anyone could tell me of a supplier in Iowa that carries a selection of supplies especially wicks. When I decide to change things and want to test I want to have something today and not wait a week for it to get here. Plus I always like to have personal service to go with it. Thanks.
