I've tried the 4630 and found it smoked a bit. Does the 4633 smoke?

I get my CO from Just by Nature

want to emphasize the point mentioned prior....when you do order your wicks, always TRY to order them from the same supplier. I swear my CD 12's from one place is a CD16 from somewhere else
-
For me, I don't get a good HT with eco wicks or lx wicks. I use CO with my mixture and use CDs or CDNs and I get an immediate HT even when the candles have just set up.

I absolutely love sweet potato pie - but it rarely sells for me either. What's up with that?

I missed the recent (last several months) posting on the C3 meltpool issue and here I went out and bought a new supply. I find that the meltpool can be 1.5 inches and still have hang on the sides. Trying new jars and I feel like I've never done this before

I've had to go down on my jj's to sometimes a cd6 I am trying to wick 4 oz. hexs now and even the cd6 is way too hot, so I'm going to try the rrd's

Saxonburg is a bit closer to Butler than Pgh. Probably about 21 or so miles from Pgh.

I buy my Soy at Early AMerican candle. I was a little leary about my last batch of C3, but then all of a sudden they were okay. Must have been the weather when I was testing. Close to Saxonburg here.

I get cracking anywhere in the jar. Vertical cracks. I was told I'm pouring too hot.

they are very similiar. There is a bit more sweetness in the sweet potatoe pie. I made some room sprays, didn' labelt them and had a heck of time figuring out which was which.

Did you try JBN for cdn wicks?

very professional

you could go into the company search on the OH state website and they should give you details, rather than relying on word of mouth.
I personally would just stay away from them. That email doesn't indicate to me they would be any different from the former owners.

Thanks...I'm actually use a tad less FO than I thought I was.
Yes, my customers like the burn your nose hairs out kind of candles, however I find some at that % can actually be annoying and not pleasurable.

WHen I started making candles, I must have been getting some older stock of the C3. As soon as I started getting the C3 by Elevance, my candles changed dramatically. I use a blend, but now I get all kinds of cracking and the hot throw is just not there. Any one else discover this?

10 ozs. of wax - I should add that....
-
Wow....I just weigh in increments of 10 ozs. on my scale and if I want to use 8% FO it would be 0.8 on my scale, or 8/10's of an oz.
1.0 on my scale would be 10%.
Am I loony????

It's goofy all over the place. And to boot...people have been so rude and miserable! If you are in retail full-time, major drop in business around here!

i signed up for the newsletter and Amy sent me it right away.
Thanks so much!

I don't see anything on their website.
-
Thanks...it always amazes me how many suppliers there are!!!

I found some 4 oz. bottles with the spray caps.
-
Thought maybe I would give room sprays a try. Any suggestions on best place to find an amber bottle (plastic) with sprayer?
Thanks...
Has anybody been to Soy-Beam Candles?

They would have to underwick the different containers and if they are a tin or can, that would be actually quite easy. I would worry about the flammable component of just using anything.
