  1. Castille is great, and it's just olive oil and water/lye, so you can get everything you need easily...just takes longer to cure.
  2. I'd be interested, too....especially holiday/fall scents.
  3. Yea, I think they're cool.....I'm too scared to work with milk too.
  4. Oh, boy, if I poured wax into my pour pot while it was on the scale...never fails I'd have wax allllllll over my scale, lol.
  5. For pillars and votives.....love love IGI 1343 for jars, I like J223 Everyone's preferences are different, though.
  6. Could you put handcrafted? That would cover them both.
  7. I wanted to try slabs, I usually use log molds, but didn't want to put out the money and then decide I didn't like them...so I just made mine...cost me less than $10...I love them, but I'm just going to make a couple more. They were extremely easy to make and I can make several for the price of one.
  8. It really depends on what you want to do...I think M&P is easier, and if you want to get creative you can do so...but I love CP, it's so much fun to make and the bars are better and last longer IMO. I like how you can add different butters and oils. But, everyone has their own preferences...try both and see which one appeals to you.
  9. Paprika, cocoa, and tea are a few that come to my mind real quick for things you may have available in your kitchen.
  10. Okay, I'm going to put my log molds aside and try a slab mold....anyone have any recommendations?
  11. Yea, it's like baby puke green, lol...great, thanks
  12. The olive oil my husband bought was real dark, will titanium dioxide still make my soap nice and white with dark olive oil?
  13. Darn, they must not do it any more....thanks anyway
  14. I know there was a supplier that also had some preprinted labels (not warning labels) but I can't remember who it was...anyone know? They had real pretty ones with flowers, butterlies, etc on them.
  15. I see all these beautiful pictures of soap you all make in your slab molds...how do you get such nice tops...my soaps almost always have ash on the top.
  16. Oh man, I have to make me some of those....my son's in youth football and I die out there watching him. Anyone know of any local stores to get the crystals...do craft stores carry them?
  17. Slow burn's right...if you do it that way, you still need to be very clear on how much of that is your product price and how much is the tax...when you submit your sales tax you have to either submit the actual percentage of your taxable sales or the amount you collected, whichever is HIGHER. In my opinion, it's just easier to add the tax at the time of sale.
  18. I add a little brown to my orange. You can also try mixing brown and red depending on how deep of a color you want.
  19. Those look great...have to just jump into CP, you'll love it once you try it.
  20. Beautiful....I'm so glad fall is coming
