  1. Do you use a wooden mold? Your batches are fine even

though you didn't insulate. Sometimes I do, sometimes

    I don't. I have a wooden mold with a lid, and honestly

I think wooden molds hold the heat alot more. I have

a beach towel that I use to wrap the mold in.

For me...I can kinda tell if my batch is going to need a

little help. If I can feel it heating up in the mold before

I put it in it's spot I won't cover it. If I don't feel much

    heat, I'll cover it.

  2. I've been dying to try Millcreek and KY...but I've been

trying to curb myself.....eek.....I soooo wanna...it's so

hard not to. I've heard the the chili pepper and sweet orange

    is awesome from Millcreek.

My favorites, since I've been sticking with only a few

    Backwoods

    Candle Cocoon

    Candle Science

    Just Scent for soaps/bb/some candles

    WSP for mainly soap/bb/some candles

BCN... if it's the Wick your Wax oils

  3. The bayleaf & pepper is my FAVORITE! I ordered a pound of that this morning...as well as 4oz'ers of sunshine lollipop, gingerbread latte, maui wowie, earth goddess. Oh...and the Lemon Tart...I think that's the name. I just love her oils!

  4. I LOVE Candle Cocoon oils. And her customer service is excellent.

I just received her oils a few weeks ago...here is what I got.

    sultry angel

    mulberry & moonbeams

    dewdrop

    bunchberry & moss

    fairydust & twinkle toes

    tiger lily & cantaloupe

    sweetgrass

    sunflower & sea mist

    pumpkin coffee

I also received a sample of

vanilla voodoo, which I poured the other day

    and WOW...that one is awesome!

I poured 2 8oz JJ each in sultry angel and dewdrop using .5oz and they smell fantastic.

  5. I'm not trying to be argumentative at all...but in my time here reading for the last several months...I've always researched using the search function because in all honesty...if anyone starts a thread asking a question...they are usually told "search options are your friend, use it, you'll find lots of info". So...due to that...I've never started a thread asking a question (except for my thread regarding candle cocoon and their oils). I agree...the seach option IS a valuable tool...but like Darbla said...if things have changed..it would be good to add to an old thread for the purpose of those who do use the search.

Not sure if that makes sense.

  6. You Go Girl...sexy little thing

Lover Boy...between the sheets (taylored concepts)

Hot Flash....arabian spices...black pepper or bayleaf & pepper

    Tease....voluptuous... daystar

She's All That...little black dress? black, silver, white?

    Girl Next Door

    Boy Next Door

    Picasso

    Dance

    Stardust....fairy dust and twinkle toes

    Flirt....girls night out

High Maintenance (or better words for it)...Diva...JS

    Intrigue

    that's all I got...

  7. Hi WaxyWoman...welcome to the site. Being injured and with much free time is what brought me to making soap and candles as well. It really helps ease stress too...although...candle making is so hard and can be frustrating trying to get all the variables right lol.

I've heard great reviews on specialty bottle and I really like working with tins also. Good luck :)

  8. Thanks to both of you. I agree...Lyschel's customer service is unlike any I've experienced so far..her personal email to me about my order really sets her far above the rest.

I'm going to pour some sultry angel with 444 today...I can't wait!

  9. I just received my order from Lyschel and all I can say is....WOW.

I have been researching her oils on here and I have to agree with something someone said...some of the oils are nose hair burners OOB...but they smell AWESOME and I can't wait to get started with using them.

I was hoping for some guidance on which wax to put them in. I have a few different waxes and I really want to put them in the best ones first since I only ordered 4 oz'ers to try. I don't want to waste these oils so I was curious what waxes they perform best in if that makes sense?

    I have 4627 comfort blend

    GW464 soy

    1343 pillar

    4625 pillar

    CB Advanced soy

I also have some J223 and 6006 and GW444. I think I have EZsoy also.

I was thinking of starting with the 4627 first...since that has a great scent throw for me usually. Then thought I would try them in the 464. Can you tell I love these FO's and don't want to waste them by putting them in something that won't do them justice? lol

I don't sell...so these are purely for my enjoyment and for friends/family.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
