Lynn, what jars did you send? I was afraid the flat rate box would be too many boxes to ship. I do have a UPS account, but I must of added the weights wrong because it weight more then what i thought.

and just sent them out today. Not too bad, took one and a half days to fill 100 candles. This was my first time shipping out something so big so I kinda messed up on the shipping. I undercharged the customer! Feeling kinda bad about that, but Im telling my self I will learn from my mistake and calculate shipping better. Anyone been as dumb as me? Please tell me its a first timers mistake (even if its not, just to cheer me up):rolleyes2

she stated that she is starting her new business in fall and something about the military..did your person say that too. She actually called my supplier(she thought they sold candles) and my supplier gave me her information.

I have a lady who asked me to wholesale some of my candles to her. she said she was wanting 10,000 ....dont know if this lady is being real, well see. but she said she wanted to put her labels of my candles. what do you guys think? has anyone done this? I feel like she would be taking the profit of my work.

I wanted to make some whipped soaps for mothers day but wasnt sure how to package it. Can tins be used or will it rust? Should plastic containers only be used? thanks

theres was a thread about this a while back. IGI had reformulated thier 4630 and changed the formula on it. they have recently gone back to the old formula. IGI recommended pouring the wax about 10 degrees hotter. some suppliers have recieved the good batch again.

if im making reed diffusers, and the glass bottle holds 7 oz of fluid, do i mix 2 oz of fragrance to 5 oz of reed diffuser mix if im doing 30%?

do you guys make your own labels or get someone to do it? i am wanting to change the look of my candles and label have one in mind, but cant seem to find the right tools to put it down. I thought about getting someone to make it for me but they were gonna charge 175!!

I dont remember if it was the end of last year or the beginning of this year. Jennifer from Lone star told me. where did you buy it from. I know that lone star are accepting them back if its not used

IGI has said to pour 10 degrees hotter then you used to. to prevent cracking and having to do repours

IGI changed their formula. After getting lots of complaints they are in the process of going back to the old formula. Lots of suppliers will not be getting the new batch for while until they run out of the old batch. IGI really messed up this time.

Any idea how many wicks I should use for this?

have you tried eco wicks? you could try to double wick with eco-4 or if you want to stick with lx wicks try either two lx-10 or 12 or single wick lx-14..hope you find a wick soon! -

what type of wax are you using? is the diameter of the jar 3.5 or 4? since you wont be pouring all the way to the top, measure the diameter of the widet part. -
thanks! great ideas. Ive been getting all the decorations and planning cake and food that my brain cant think of any more things. I like the spiderman soap idea, i could probally embed some spiderman toys into the soap and tie them in cello bags.
