  1. ok so ive tried to whip mp...no luck really it came out gross LOL

so brainstormed.....shaved some soap curls, melted some base the same color let it cool down, mixed in the shavings (curls) and spooned ontop of the cake part...and omg it worked :yay:

I'll post a pic in the gallery in a few mins

  2. I made these in a velveeta cheese box

    GINGERBERGMPSOAP_DEANNA.gif

Gingered Bergamot- added some mango butter to these, I left the top frothy and bubbly

Japanese Cherry Blossom-added mango & shea butter, yogurt powder, this is what I made with my leftovers for the MP Swap

  3. ive whipped mp before, i didnt like the way it felt, it was crumbly i think because it just cools down to fast

you can whip it just til its frothy, then pour, buts its really not whipped up like frosting

to get it to stick to the layer i let a skin form then poked a few holes in it, gently pushed down so some base came up, sprayed with alcohol and put the whipped ontop, it stuck together, i think it does melt aways faster than the other layer

  4. looks like a log mold was used and a wavy cutter

he probably poured clear (colored green) first, then poured the white over it, before a firm skin formed, couldve poured right after the clear without skin, topped or incorporated poppy seeds maybe

ive poured clear and then white over it and it sorta makes what looks like clouds in the clear, you could probably take a knife or stick and do a little swirling in the bottom to get a better effect

i havent tried this way of making the frosting yet, but I think im going to give this a go sometime this month. I want to see how hard the frosting gets or if it stays soft.

I usually do my frosting with the meringue powder but that usually just gets tossed in the trash as alot of people dont let it just float around in their tubs.

Ive also done whipped cp soap and piped it out and let it dry and cure then sprayed the tops of my cupcake bombs with witch hazel to start a fizz and placed it on, but sometimes they do not want to stick

  6. alot of people make their own with chicken wire and evergreen branches, get the chicken wire the size of the grave or smaller, depending on what you want, some ground stakes to secure it

weave the branches through the chicken wire and secure them, then decorate with a bow or ornaments if for christmas

if you have a christmas tree lot near by you could ask them for the trimmings or buy some trimmings from them
