  1. i just got a order of yogurt powder for adding to my milk bath, basically you can put anything in it (that is safe of course) dried botanicals, but some people dont like buds floating in their water especially lavender as it looks like little flies LOL

fine ground oats (grind into a powder) i like this alot with a nice oat n honey fo

just let your imagination run with it

  2. Thank you DeAnna, samples are just $1.00 :D

hmmm i'll have to get some samples, my problem is my skin tone, im an odd color and i have so many problems trying to match a good foundation (german/african american) so im kinda yellow but not :laugh2: sorta tan but not quite LOL i dont even know how to explain my skin tone!!

  3. very cute!!!

ive added fo to my meringue before, not alot, maybe 1/2 tsp

i usually pipe out the rest of my meringue too, i attach it with more meringue, i make just a little bit and use it like glue (spritz the tops of your cakes with witch hazel and then add a bit of the meringue and pop the tops on and press down)

  4. if i remember correctly i read that raw aloe is very perishable, so i would be careful if i incorporated it into any bath and body products

also i think there is a cold process they use to get the gel, powder, and juices from the aloe leaves, not sure about that but definitely worth researching :grin2:

  5. whatever i make for myself, friends and family i usually make for the kids also

bath bombs, they love them, especially if they make bubbles

lotions in yummy scents like cotton candy, etc..

shower gels and soaps in candy, fruit and clean scents

definitely lip balms in yummy flavors

just be creative, look in the b&b gallery you see many cool things like the soapsicles and such to get good ideas for kids

  6. Mink Oil - An oil similar to human sebum. It has soothing, conditioning, and protective properties, making it an important component of dry skin products. Mink oil has tremendous spreading capabilities. Miink oil(with 80% unsaturated fats) is the easiest to absorb and most compatible oil for human skin. It is used by many people for the treatment of skin problems such as psoriasis, eczema and acne. It penetrates quickly to the epidermis layer of the skin to help prevent fine lines and wrinkles, and also works as a natural sun screen. The supreme softness, smoothness and moisture-retaining properties imparted to skin are directly due to the special ratio of glycerides contained in Mink Oil.

now dont quote me on that LOL just something i read ..now it may or may not smell like a ferret, but being from '72 i wouldnt be to anxious to use it, might smell like "very old on its last leg ferret" LOL

and how exactly do they get the oil from the mink?

Mink oil is made from the thick fatty layer minks have just under their skins. This fat is removed from the pelt when the mink is skinned and is then rendered into mink oil.

  7. if its to stiff to pipe you need to add a little bit more water

    try this

    3 tbsp. meringue powder

    1 lb. confectioners' sugar

6 tbsp. warm water (in humidity use less water)

Beat all ingredients until icing forms peaks at low speed. Yield approximately 3 cups
