  1. I made a pure coconut oil soap to use especially for the laundry. I shredded it and melted it in hot water before adding washing soda and borax for a liquid detergent.
  2. I am no expert; but I have rebatched using a crockpot several times. It is my understanding that heating the soap, melting and cooking it is just like hot process, so you can used the rebatched soap as soon as you take it out of the mold.   4. I have used red palm oil four times. Every time, the soap traced superfast. In fact one time it seized up. I don't use nearly as much anymore as I would regular palm oil.
