will help me keep track of expenses? I've been doing it all by hand on paper for the past 5 years and its getting really old! I don't need one that keeps an inventory of what stock I have on hand. I just want to be able to enter in receipts after I purchase things. That I can enter different categories for my accountant. And then I also sell with several categories. Intra-state, wholesale, retail, consignment, etc etc so I have never ending paperwork. Just didn't know if there was a program anyone knows of that would be beneficial for my purpose! thanks for any help sandi

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FELLOW FO HO PAL!!! No to highjack but just wanted to say it! Yep, guess I'll be sticking to the same 15 :embarasse suppliers I always use! LOL

dont' bother trying to pm her on the dish anymore, either her box has been full or she has disabled her box!!!! After I couldn't get through that way I emailed, that didn't work either, no response! I will say at one point she pmed me back (before her box was full or disabled) and CLAIMED that she would resend the order out again the next day. Well that 2nd box went out 10 days ago and I'm yet to get that one! I originally ordered on the 8th of November and just got THAT box FINALLY yesterday!!!! Of course they leaked all over. Lost a good oz of the one, sticky tape, sticky peanuts, sticky mess. Mailman brought it to the door in a garage bag and asked if still wanted to accept it! Heck yea, I've been waiting FOREVER but was nervous to open it! Yes, I agree, nice stuff, crappy customer service and I will not be reordering! There are plenty of suppliers to value my orders and then out in a reasonable time frame. I have placed probably 6 orders from other GREAT suppliers since the 8th and none have taken anywhere NEAR that long. I just don't buy any sort of priority taking over 3 weeks to get here. :mad: Trust me Vanilla, I feel your pain bigtime!

i agree, 50% is way too much, heck I don't even wholesale at that much! I have 2 consignment places, one takes 10% plus $35 a month in rent, the other I pay no rent and they take 20%. I've had a bit missing/stolen and its basically my loss, but overall sales are definetly good enough to not worry about the few things stolen in a year. I think 50% is nuts!

I haven't had too much success with the toothpick method. I hate when you have a cool looking swirley and you mist with alcohol to get rid of the bubbles and it takes the swirl away!! grrrr... yea, some secrets ya have to keep to yourself!! Just like my "secret" lip balm recipe that took FOREVER to perfect! LOL;)

I'll tell ya, its been alot of trial and error, soap base, soap temps, I think its taken my 5 years of MPing to get to this point of swirling...and I hope they continue!!! Its always hard to make the same looking log mold of soap twice!! LOL But from what I can tell by reading, mp swirling seems to be alot harder then CP swirling.... THANKS for the compliments!

well maybe i'll post the other, not as cool as a swirley, and how'd my pic get big??? LOL btw, these are all wrapped, i forgot to even take pics before i wrapped them...geeesh...i'll have to unwrap to take REAL pics for the site.

Obviously my BRV is much cooler of a swirl...but remember I only do MP so swirles aren't too easy!!! well I can't make the CMA smaller so I'm just posting one....I can't get the hang of this pic thing!! LOL

Wow! Those are so cool and unique! So different from the usual. But too darn pretty to burn! LOL I love the basket weave one and the lacy rose one too. The punkin' one is very cute. I love those little pumpkins on top, are they added after or are they part of the mold! Fabulous stuff as usual!!!

Its a gorgous scent! I love it, it is a bit light but it is perfect for the scent! OM has some super duper goodies!

yeppers, definetly not as good as the description. haven't made anything with it, but just like the 2 pals above me, nothing to write home about! Actually I think all 3 of us would be willing to sell you ours!

I don't make candles, just bath & body stuff, but I think you might want to add a few fresh & clean scents - fresh linen, clean cotton, then maybe some a rain scent, china rain or ocean rain. I still enjoy fruity ones in the fall and winter, something tropical. I'm assuming you probably have the usual cinnamon, vanilla, coffee, along with your bakery. Pomegrantate or red currant are also a couple nice ones for fall that aren't bakery type. Of course a good apple is always a fave too. just a few ideas....

how many are you looking for and what type?

oh believe me, I will take homemade candles any day over store bought ones, but was pleasantly surprised when I actually did smell one. Although there is a HUGE difference between smelling one in a store and burning one! I've "heard" they are extremely high quality but can't say I have personally burned one! heck I trade my bath & body stuff for other people on here's candles since thats one thing I don't do! glad I could help...even just a bit...and I looked they don't carry the med fig...sorry....I did a search and see a lot of suppliers carry med fig but don't see any that list it as "type"

trapp has great candles. i just recently had a customer who was desperately wanting the lemongrass verbena and wsp came out with it. she ws thrilled that i found it and said its perfect. she ordered a ton of stuff in it. WSP carries 3 or 4 of their dupes.
