  1. Well of course I am not experienced so my best guess is that I am pouring at a thin to medium trace, as the soap cures it starts to take on a rough surface on top almost like I purposely textured it, but I didn't...I can post a pic tomorrow but its not a pretty site, almost too embarrassed to post it:laugh2:
  2. I have made 2 batches of CP Soap. I really enjoy making it. Problem is the last batch looks bumpy on top, not smooth at all. Why is this? I like the way Care bears soap looks but I have a problem trying to achieve it, Do you CP or what? Do you use a stick blender with your method or whisk..Thanks for any advice
  3. Jenni that is gorgeous, Great look for the holidays, Is the fo, cookies for santa or something similar:yay: Your soap rocks
  4. I wanted to make quiet girls basic soap. I ordered Palm kernal flakes, the only ingredient that I didn't have. I got it today and was shocked at the texture. 6. QUESTION: How can we turn our liquid soap that we learnt how to make on this site into a shower gel? Any suggestions
  7. I really respect the advice from you ladies, so here comes a question about this recipe... Premium Shampoo 68.4% Water 30.0% Blend NBB 0.1% Fragrance 0.1% preservative 1.60% Salt ( used for thickness) Add Q Pearl for the pearly look Citric Acid- amount needed to have your ph 6.5-7.5 ( required>0.1%) Here come the questions. I got this recipe from a site that I normally order most of my supplies from, basically because the shipping is not high since I live with 100 miles of the business. Is the salt referred to in this recipe table salt. There is no mention on the site...Can someone convert the percentage into ounces for me. I would like to try this recipe. I want to add shampoo to my Southern Silk Essentials Line...All answers appreciated. Connie:embarasse
  8. Wonderful and remember when you hit it big I do hand lotions, LOL
  9. I have a company that is wanting to buy my lotion for resell. This pump is 8oz. I normally sell it for $10.00 and I have alot of return business. What should the price be for wholesale. I of course need to make money but I don't want to over price and lose this client. Any suggestions? Connie:highfive:
  10. I have an idea...Let's take the whipped frosting and add the apricot meal to it...I believe if we added more oils to thin it up just a little then it would come out of a malibu...Any ideas on this suggestion?:highfive:
  11. Hi Island Girl, I am an insurance agent. All companies that you do business with ( such as craft show hosts ) can require to be added as additional insured. That is the whole purpose of carrying insurance. It protects them also and their costs want be as high if you carry your own coverage. The certificate of liability is at no cost to you and the insurance company should be able to fax it to the craft show or you within minutes.:highfive:
  12. On fundraisers the price stays the same...but for wholesale you need to give a little because of the large orders...I don't give much of a break because of everything going up....
  13. You did a wonderful job, I love how consistent the swirls remain without looking like a blob....Great job!
