    Those are FANTASTIC :highfive: , I would not paint it, it looks great the way it is but then again I like the looks of bare wood plus it gives it more of a country look. Great workmanship!! For your name, I would follow the curve of the top of your shelf, if that.

    Thank you, all. The square one is JS Lavender Tangerine and the other is JS Tuscan Orange. It's not the exact orange I was lookin for but it beats mixing the red and yellow oxides and getting more of a melon color, anyways it's fun to experiment with plus it gives me an excuse to make soap. I don't have any lavender tangerine left but if you want one of the tuscan orange, it's yours.

    Just wanted to encourage you to keep at it, it does take some practice and to expect the opposite of what your "planned" swirl you were trying to achieve and also remember that once you have that perfect swirl it's hard to reproduce it again.

    Thank you all - it is scented, JS Lilac Honeysuckle and it smells fabulous!

    I am finding that I need to use more mica than I do with my oxides and ultra marines - I use any were from 1/2 tsp to 3/4 tsp depending on the color.
