Ok, I never thought in a million years I would EVER do soap. But I have done some of the M&P and I like it. Now I want to try CP soap. Since this is so new, I am thinking that maybe buying a starter kit some where would be better than buying all the things needed individually. For those of you that CP, would that be better cost wise you think? If so, what is a good place for a kit like that.

I feel your pain and understand that times are tough and people have their own issues but what the heck does that have to do with a debt you owe?

If you did not have the money then you should not have ordered or accepted the merchandise if you were going through financial issues period.

Again, I am sorry for what ever personal issues you are dealing with and I hope they get better soon.

Just so you know where I am coming from, I am not just being rotten. I will give you a short run down of what I have been through the past year.

Last January I was diagnosed with a weird type of Mono that will never complete go away it's almost like Lupus, then during a routine check up they found pre cancerous cells that WILL turn into cervical cancer, it's just a matter of when. Now they found questionable lumps in my breast.

A few months later my husband had a stroke... then days after that my kitchen flooded in the middle of the night which then flooded the into the basement that held ALL of my candle overstock that I just bought for the busy season. When Serve pro tore out the water damage they found black mold! 10 thousand dollar clean up job not covered by insurance!

This past October I was diagnosed with 2 spots skin cancer on my back, I just had my 3rd surgery and my next apt is Wednesday for the 4th. The went deep and I am in allot of pain. I am supposed to take it easy and not work, but I am a mom, wife and business owner. I can't take a break I have obligations!

Seriously what could go wrong went wrong and that is just the tip of the crap I have been through, I didn't even get to the virus my kids brought home a few weeks ago and the explosive diarrhea and projectile vomiting that went with it. I am not trying to be funny either. This is all true!

But despite all the horrible horrible things that were happening in my personal life, I paid my bills on time, filled the orders and took care of my family. And NEVER told ANYONE except for close friends and my immediate family. I never used ANY of this personal stuff of reasons why I can't pay my bills or fulfill obligations to my customers or anyone else.

I agree totally and you have a lot to be commended on. My prayers are with you and I hope that all turns out well and that you get to feeling yourself.

I am new to bath bombs so I can't offer much help, but I would LOVE a recipe for dishwasher detergent. It is so blasted expensive and like laundry soap, I would love to make my own. Would you share your recipe??

I would have handed her my card and told her that when the candles didn't make it to the 100 hour mark, to give me a call and I would set her up with a "good" candle. But I am just a brat that way!!

LouLou Girl has had some luck using WSP Vanilla Neutralizer in her vanilla scented bubble bars so I am going to order some and try it with my vanilla fo's and cupcakes.

Could you use the M&P one or do you need a different one?

It always helps when you can vent Jen. I think that sometimes when others can understand your anger and agree that you have the right to be angry, it helps us to cope.

Regardless of what you do, just know that you are the bigger person in all of this. AND I totally agree with you about letting this person participate in any of your co-ops. I hope that she will eventually do the right thing and pay you. No one deserves to lose money due to the dishonesty of another person.

I have about 1/2 doz FO that does this. All of them have vanillan in them or a heavy spice. BUT not all my vanillan ones do this. I tried different wicks, wax and jars and could never get it to stop.

Could you add SLSA to it since that is used for bubbles?

Thanks noodle. I am new to this so I love have the SFIC ones to try and will try WSP as well to see which I like better.

You don't have to use additives. M&P base makes a good soap by itself. But some find it drying or not moisturizing or creamy enough, etc so they want to add something to it.

So if it seems drying when I use it, what can you add to it to help with that? I also poured some M&P last night. It smells really good and I used the goats milk as well. I didn't think it had much lather to it, but I only did small bars from an ice cube tray mold that I had so maybe it was the size of the bar.

Also, can you add anything to the M&P bases to give more lather?

I would call customer service and talk to them. I had a damaged package once and didn't even bother with UPS. I called them directly and they took care of it.

Also, look at the e-mail confirmation you received and also the invoice to see if the order you needed is on either.

I would not worry about what she is saying. She wants to take the heat off herself and make you look bad in hopes that people will forget that SHE screwed you. But I agree with the post a few up, I would post her name so that everyone could be warned.

Have any of you used their M&P soap bases? I got some in the swap sockmonkey did and I really like it. But there are some things from WSP that I would like to try and I am all for narrowing down the number of people I buy from.
