So I am making salt bars. i have run into a problem. I am doubling the oils to cool them and will make 2 batches tomm. Now I am 4 oz short on the shea. I am already melting this. Now what? br

Does anyone know if sea salt that is bought in bulk has iodine? I bought some to make salt bars and I am thinking it has no iodine. Is there a way to tell for sure? br

I have a really dumb question. I am measuring out ingr. for soaping. My recipe calls for 10.13 ounces. My scale measures 10.1,2,3 etc. how do you get the .13 ounces. My recipes has alot of .12 etc and I don't know how to do this. br

Never Never Never!!!!!!!!! I ordered molds from them, paid right away and I luckily paid with my credit card. I was able to receive my money back from the credit card company. I left message after message, still haven't heard from them, this over a year ago. Research them, them rarely send out the stuff! br -
I am following the instructions for the wax from the site and so far I have had no problem with their guide. I am wondering it says for a pillar 4 inches or larger to use CSN 14. I don't know. I don't really have much time to test burn if anyone has done this size I will believe them. Has anyone done this size before? Bev

Hi There, I am beginning to pour my feather palm pillars. I am wondering, I read a thread about them not being one pour. My question is to those that use this wax. What temp do you pour at? Someone said they waited till it was slushy. Would this still give me a nice design on the candle? Any hints? I have made pillars from this just finding that I had to re-pour many times. br

Hi Everyone, I have been making my CP and HP using molds I have made at home. I am looking to by a mold. I am wondering if you can buy one that would be good for a first time. I don't want to invest a pile of money the first time. I noticed some people are buying the plastic liner only. Any suggestions on where to buy a good mold? I live in Canada and would prefer to buy here, but will consider other options. BR

Hi Everyone, I am making pillars out of palm/starbusrt wax from candlescience. I am having a real problem with holes as it cools. The first batch was great. This is a one pour wax. Now the last few pillars form a crust and then several holes appear. What am i doing wrong? It is heated to '200 and then poured at 85-95. I have e-mailed candlescience. No reply yet. Hope some one has some ideas! br:undecided

Ok So this is the problem. I am able to whip it and it is so hard I cant pipe it. So I tried again and added less powder and it doesn't look good. It goes on runny. So now what? Maybe the wax paper trick would work. I am almost ready to give up. br

Hi everyone, So after much searching i have found this dry egg white powder for topping bath bombs (cakes). I don't know how to mix it though for making the topping on bath bombs! Any suggestions? I have seen someone else in this group made the. Thanks br

I realize there have been threads on this but i am wondering what I can top my bath cake with that will look like icing. I tried foaming bath soap. looks great but it does not dry out properly. I need these ready by Friday! I don't have the dried meringue powder. Any one have any ideas? br

Good Morning, So I put my recipe thru the calculator. I am wondering if this looks right. I am wanting to use cocoa butter because I have no shea left. Will that work? I could also use hemp or avocado. I have those 2 on hand. Salt Bar Water-24.32 lye-10.08 castor-3.2 coconut-48 olive-6.4 cocoa-6.4 all in ounces for #4 Bev
