Are you referring to hang tags? I make mine (print and cut) from cardstock.
Yes, I want a hang tag that you can add scent to so they will know what
they are buying. I have seen them on other candle sites. Can you add
scent to your tags?
TIA

Does anybody know where to buy scent tags to attach to candles that have
been shrink wrapped?
TIA

Let me ask this ... did you use a water bath?
Looks like some of these candles were still stuck to the mold ... so no, it isn't frost.
No bath. I poured 28 more candles yesterday with different FOs and they
turned out great. I didn't know that oil is needed to make a candle mottle. I learn so much from you all and really appreciate everyone's willingness to
help.

I don't make jj, but on my 16 oz whisper jar I use ECO 14. Is the jj a 3 to 3.5" diameter? I am just now testing the CDs, but I know the ECOs work great with the 6006.

Thanks, Karen. I am going to make some right now and go back to putting the FO in. I was trying to cut corners to get pictures for a website. Thanks for your reply.

I get mine from www.labelsbythesheet.com also. They ship same day.

Sandra,
I will try to email you my results tomorrow. I didn't forget you and Carole. I had a lot of ceramic candle containers to get out over the holidays. To make it brief, the cases of 6006 I got from CS is good. I have burned 12 different containers and scents and wicks with very good results. I will send you more info tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

Those are beautiful! Great job!

I triple wick my 4" containers. One reason is because I get a more even burn than with 2 wicks. If I wick up to use 2 wicks then my jar gets too hot to touch.

Try pouring at 150 and DO NOT chill the molds. Hopefully, the frost will stay on the candle and not the mold.

I do pour at 150-153 and I do not chill my molds. It's weird because it doesn't happen all the time.

Thanks, Eugenia! I used to only use 1/2t per pound and just started with
1t per pound.
Thanks for your reply.

I use 1274 with 1/2 oz/pp FO. I heat to 185-190, add dye, FO and 1t/pp SA.
Sometimes I get a cake like film on the candle and you can see where some
of it is still in the mold after removing it. I don't think it's the FO because I did a lot testing colors and didn't use FO. Any idea what causes this?
TIA

Candle Science is in NC, which is closer to you. They do not mark up the shipping and if you order by 3pm it ships the same day. I get my orders in 2 days from them. They have the best customer service. Good luck and have fun!

Hi, Elaine, are you going to scent yours? So, do you know how much FO to add?
