Is there such a thing as ultra clear without propylene glycol or SLS? Seems you can find the white base, and all others without but not the clear.

Wow, this thread has been revived after almost 6 years. I wonder how many are still in the business and full time after all this time.

I have tried both Rustic essentials and Catalina bases and really like them. My only concern is the "scent" that comes out of the container they come in. Sometimes even after adding FO I swear I can still smell it. I am worried that a buyer would also notice this. Does anyone else worry about this.....or am I just paranoid ?

Does any one have any of these? I have one where the only label is the one on the outside which says: 25 lb box soap base - Regular bulk white. I have emailed BB to ask them, but cannot get a reply. All i want to know is the ingredients so I can list them on my labels. I cant tell if this is the one on the website they call "premium solid block" or "bulk white melt and pour." None on the website call them "regular." Thanks

How weird that i cant smell a thing........ even OOB. Rocking the Stars is great, strong. Dont know about the lush one, but love this one.

Does anyone use this one? i just bought it because it had good reviews and was lush dupe. I cant smell anything! Tried in M&P and lotion. Nothing. Is it me or bad bottle or it just doesnt have a smell.......

Ah ha....type it, highlight all, right click and you can type in the font you want in the drop down box that opens. It didnt work by typing in new number at the font option at the top.

If you make your own labels using templates in Word, how do you get the font small enough to include all the ingredients on something like a body butter on a small label. The smallest font I can find is 8. I just know there is an easy explanation, but it just isnt clicking with me right now. Thanks

I think this may be a base and just wondered if anyone finds it familiar. I bought a couple of body butters off Etsy and they both had the same ingredients, but I dont see this particular one listed on any of the suppliers I have found so far. ROFL - Now why didnt I realize it would be already whipped. I think my head is just spinning from reading and researching too much. Its funny you mention the feeling of stinging. I made some last night and noticed this. I thought maybe just too much FO, even though I had used the minimum amount recommended.

Bumping this as I just bought some of this without the butters and am ready to try it. I also wondered how long you whipped it for. Momto2zs have you tried your yet?

I have been reading up on making bath and body items and browsing different suppliers to get as much info as possible before buying any items. One supplier has lots of flavor oils listed for use with body butters. So I take it you can use BB safe fragrance oil or flavor oils in body butters? Is it just a personal choice, or does one work better than the other. Thanks.

How did this one work out? I think I have some of those jars and use 464, but the few that I tested (forget the wicks, maybe CD) the glass seemed thinner than normal and it was hot.

Is this the jelly jar that some people use for soy candles? http://www.containerandpackaging.com/item.asp?item=G044J It doesnt state it is for candles but then neither do the ones we get from Walmart and other stores. Are most canning jars safe for candles?
