  9. You can whip your pillar/votive soy wax with no additives, it comes out great! Just wait until it cools with a thin film forming over the wax and whip it.
  10. WOW! That looks so perfect how do you do that? Great job!
  11. When I first started making candles, I was using cba and was getting no hot throw what so ever! I switched to Cb135 and was getting a hot throw but also I was learning more on what worked. I found adding your FO at 180 gave me an awsome hot throw. You didn't say what temp you added your FO, but maybe try 180 and see if it makes a difference maybe it will help???
  12. I think Vickey is great too, she just did some custom labels for me and some custom warning labels, she even stuck them on some jelly jars and took a picture and sent it to me via e-mail to make sure i liked them! They look so great, i cant wait to get them. Now that's great customer service!!

  16. Thank you everyone! For those that are curious to see how these burn here's a Pic. The wax is PB140 a soy pillar/votive wax. I changed the wicks to LX18 cause the LX16's flame got really small. Again sorry for the huge pic:confused: how do you shrink these things?

  18. I don't know what Hs Candle is but i know BCN has some candle/tart warmer combo. I bought a few, i just have to say the bowl it comes with is huge! You can easily fit 3oz of was in there!
  19. Thanks everyone, I will have to see what I can find thats a good idea! I've burned it 3 times so far, and i definitely need to wick up because on the 3rd burn the flames got small. Right now it has a shell.
  20. Those look so real, they are awesome!
  21. Thanks guys, sorry the pic is so big I didn't know how to shrink it. Right now I'm burning it in a ceramic tray cause i can't find an oval or rectangle candle plate. I want to start selling these after the testing is all done but i want to sell them on a candle tray.
  22. I made this loaf candle but I need a candle plate to fit it in, anyone know where i can buy these? 5x7 would work! Loaf is scented in Cinnamon Bun and doubled wicked with 2 LX 16. I have burned it 3 times so far and the flames are small so as of now i think i will have to wick up!
  23. That is the only one I was able to find, I didn't like that color and it all shiny. But that is the perfect size, do you think it would be ok to spray paint it with flat paint and use it for candles?
