  1. They are in the same state as me, but even when I have ordered from other supplie co. in my state it seems to be an average of a week before I get the order. With them if I call by a certain time it goes out the same day and I get it the next day. Which helps when you are in a pinch.
  2. If your supplier makes candles I imagine they have tested the soy wax. It may have just been the personal opinion of the supplier, that they didn't like soy. Most suppliers I have worked with test all items in there store. You may want to ask them when you speak to them.
  3. MSC is awesome, and very strong.
  4. [ Finishing up a burn test with the Fruit Slices one and been really happy overall. Great throw, good melt pool, etc. The only issue is that the wick has been mushrooming pretty bad during a 4 hour test burn (yes, we trimmed it to 1/4" before burning...). Oh, the wick is the 51-32-18Z (zinc core wicks). The mushrooming in your case is from letting it burn too long. I tell my customers to watch after about 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours, they will see lite stream of black smoke coming up, that is a sign to blow it out, trim the wick and relight it. If after doing that it still smokes then you need to look at overscenting or wrong size wick. Hope this helps.

  7. Yes that is the wax. It is contianor wax blend, such as MSC123 (J50). Sorry should have been clearer in my 1st post.
  8. There is a wax called MSC300, it is 51% soy 49% cont. blend that is made to pull away from the side just enough to give a smooth apperance.
  9. Hello, Makes Scents Candles has Citronella FO. If you have never made them before here are a couple little tips. If selling them to customers to burn outside have them leave wick long, not trimmed. The added smoke helps keep the mosquitos and other bugs away. You can also go up a size in the wick if you are using a tin or thick glass container. the address for the above company is www.makesscentscandles.com I have also heard that lemongrass and lemongrass and sage are good FO to get rid of bugs. Sorry to go on and on, Good Luck
  10. MSC great in soy and incense.
  11. Are you pre heating your mold? Think of it this way, you are pouring a 190 degree wax in to a 40 to 45 degree mold. This can cause not only the bubbles but also cold shock. Try heating your molds, and letting it cool on its own. I agree that if it is cooling to fast it is not having time to for the air to release, there trapping it in the candle. Good Luck

  17. Hello I was pregant with twins and the smell of candles never bother me, but the smell of everything else did. Try putting "Vicks" vapor rub under your nose, if you can stand that smell, it blocks out the others smells rather nicely.
