  1. Hi Rene thanks so much for the reply. But I have to ask as you are way ahead of me on this, what is DPG? Garry
  2. I’m not sure if this is the place to ask but here it goes. I have taken an interest in the Effusion Lamps and would like to make my own scented fuel. Question has anyone else out there be making there own fuel? If so would you share the formula?
  3. ChrisR with all the info received here on this question I will be very busy this weekend. Thanks, Garry My Honor Student and Your Ferret would get along just great!!
  4. Susan thanks so much for all the info. I am bring up Ebay now. Thanks, Garry
  5. Candlemwoman: Thanks, The synthetic vs the essential oil is a good point. Thanks again, Garry
  6. This may have been asked but here it goes. Where can I get the FO for the mosquito candles? There are two candles advertised for this purpose, Citronella and the new Conceal Candles. If anyone knows were to get either I would appreciate it. Thanks, Garry

  8. TwoScentsWorth this scent was so highly rated I thought it had to be me. I will pour again this weekend and use another scent. Thanks for your reply.
  9. Thanks for the reply DirtyBird. I used 1 lb of 444 to 1.5 oz of FO. TwoScents Worth above could also be correct, I may need to move on and work with another scent. But this scent was so highly rated in soy. Thanks again for your reply.
  10. What is the trick to scent throw in soy? Please I need help here. I’m using Golden Soy Blend 444 from Millcreek. I heat the wax to 175, melt a tiny sliver of dye, mix in 1.5 0z Downey Clean Breeze from Natures Garden, pour at 140 into a 10 0z jar wicked with a CD18. After 1 week cure I get almost no scent throw. Is my wick to big (the melt pool is great)? Is it the wrong wax? Is it the Scent? Cold throw is great but hot throw is bad. By the way this is not the only scent not to throw just the one I’m testing now. Another thing some sites tell you to add FO at 170 to 175 and some want the FO added just before pouring. Which is correct? As you can tell it is a little frustrating. Delphi70
