  1. Thanks Carrie.. I appreciate that. I want to let people know , I just got done testing emu oil from "Land of Milk and Honey" and there is not only bacteria in it by E.Coli... Yikes. Anyone useing this should test their emu oil. I am on the search for a new supplier. I had emu oil on "Bank" with my Refinery.. But due to the economy.. they closed.. Crap , right. So I have been tesing and no one comes close to the oil I produced. I just can't do that rodeo anymore. I just got samples from Renu... only 175.00 gallon but it reked.... I mean I almost threw up.. WOW.. how would people send that out the door, really. Anyone out there that knows where I can get emu oil at wholesale pricing. I buy useally 10 gallons at a time. I would appreciate it. The peroxide vaule needs to be .1-.3 .. Thanks in advance
  2. There is bacteria in one of your oils. They should not mold. You should not need a preservative either if they dry completely. But it doesnt hurt.. Test your oils. There isnt enough water in those to grow bacteria. Unless you used green water. I test all my new oils and I had some Shea butter that was bad.. Not good
  3. Is this just on your face or all over? If it is just on your face you need the Clarity. Not the crystal clear. I will send you samples. Send your address to comfort@vanyulay.com Monica
  4. Between , the paraben thing, Vegitarian thing, and the emu thing.. I am banging my head.
  5. Ok.. I need to know if anyone has been sucessful in using a non paraben presevative, such as Liquid Germall Plus. their lotions. Or anything like that preservative. Especially if you use emu oil. I can not land a huge account because of the Germaben that I use. Although I dont have any growth in my products.. they will not allow parabens. Please only respond if you have tested your products for neg & pos gram bacteria, fungus, and yeast. Because if you have not tested your products.. you cant see the little buggers. Thanks in advance.
  6. It is a clear liquid, that is extracted from soap. Soap makers use large amounts of salt to make the glycerin rise to the top. Then scrap it off and sell it to you . That process is also use for making nitro glycerin. Glycerin is an hummecant in lotions. It depends on what you are putting it in. Honey is a hummecant also. It would be great in soap & Lotion. Monica
  7. Awesome! I hope the sell well. They look outstanding!
  8. To all those who are testing my soap & lotions...... PLease , please send me pictures at comfort@vanyulay.com. I spend over $100.00 on postage & free soap and lotion and no one is sending before & after pictures. I am so Bummmmmmmmmmmmmed.... Please If you could , I would appreciate it! Monica
  9. unfortunely , when That happens the mold is ruined. It is best to make sure those molds lay flat. When they get deformed, they will not go back.. Sorry. Monica
  10. I am not understanding the question. Is the mold broke or the silicone is just two hard to demold? ( Yellow silicone?)
  11. Yes, any silicone in a tube will fix and color siliocone. I fix every color here... LOL
  12. I get my pepperminit, patchouli , & other oils from wfmed. The ylang-ylang is not good, but everything else is been great for the price. http://stores.ebay.com/WFMED
  13. That sounds great. I have litterly have fixed 5 molds this past week.... Wish they would change silicone. It is not good for those electric molds. Anyways, Good luck. I do like the idea of the nylon.. I am going to use that idea. Monica
  14. Well, ok.. I dont know what is going on lately, but everyone is sending their molds to me to patch.Who ever makes that purple stuff ....... anyways. I use silicone to patch silicone. I dont charge anything. Because I just dab a little on the mold when I am pouring silicone. So if you would like to send it to me, I will fix it. You pay shipping. Or you can go down to the harware store and buy , just regular silicone.(in the tube) It will ahere to it. Just make sure that you dont put so much on that it dribbles down inside. Because then you will ruin it. Monica
  15. Yes I have all new oil tested and as you can see from the picture, I refine it one more time with a full proof method and that blood you see in that pan is what was left over from me refining it from milk and honey. I contacted them and they said, that is how there oil is. Return it , if you dont like it. Unless you have tested it you wont find it. In soap it probably wont be a problem. But in lotion you will get mold. You can not see the blood in it, by looking at it. Also, if you look at the data sheet, most peroxide levels of emu oil should be about .1-.3 , Not .5-1.0Z
  16. That is an excellent price, take it and run. The meringue powder from wilton cost that much for a 4.0Z size. I bought my from a baker for 9.95 for 8.0Z . Yikes.. Killer deal!
  17. I used to 11 years ago, have 48-60 scents. Crazy.. Everyone wanted this scent, and then that scent. It got over whelming. Now I carry 21 scents I took 4-5 scents of each category, Fruity, Flowery, Neutral, or Musky. Now everyone sells great and no left over product hanging around.
  18. I don’t want to be gross here, but be careful with the emu oil from Milk and Honey... It is full of blood. Too many proteins and bacteria. You want the peroxide value to be about .2-.3 not .5-1.0. You need to refine it, if you have received some from there. Most emu farms will carry soap oils for about $125.00 a gallon.
  19. BC with Lilac 2005.. the othes dont come close.
  20. I use bitter creek.. Lilac. But it called lilac 2005, the other lilacs dont even come close.
  21. With mica's how much do you use for a lb? Does or do these work better? Are the really better for you?
  22. OMG.. Lately, I am having the worst luck in frangrance oils. What is happening? I order Garden of Paradise.... It smell like flowers, then notes hit you like dead smelly feet. I am not kidding you. The gal that works for me almost threw up. I have never ordered anything from there, except this week. Has anyone tried this in lotion or soap? I dont want to ruin a batch of anything.
