Dragon Lily Extreme Red sold by soapsilly supply
Will this not bleed in MP either?

So it is just the weight of the oils and nothing else, not the lye or the liquid? are cocoa butter etc included in the weight of the oils?
Yes, cocoa butter is part of the oils. Any hard or soft butter or oil is part of the oils, except for fragrance or essential Oils.

Damn, you do some incredible work. These are beautiful.
-
Those are beautiful. You're very creative.

length x width x depth x .40 will calculate how much oils to use

Congratulations! I'll be looking for your creations in the gallery.

I started with 4x6" 100 gauge shrink wraps bags I bought on ebay and used my hair dryer. They came good but the scent didn't come through. To me, that's important. So now I use 60gauge shrink wrap roll and that worked better and I still use my hair dryer with a bit of tape in the back. I was able to get the roll from ebay really cheap. I use on both mp & cp. I think it's more sanitary that way too.

Nice job everyone!! They all look great!
As soon as I'm comfortable doing that many colors, I'm trying this. Thanks Grumpy, this tutorial is gonna come in handy.

I've listed more for the weekend pricing.
Paul....
Double Darn, I keep missing this. Couldn't get on my pc Sun. Maybe I should just stick to the ones I already have.
-
Wow! These are fab! Shucks! I wanna learn to do that.
-
SWEET! I just ordered the smaller one.
Darn, you beat me to it. Guess I'll have to wait for co-op & pay more.
Lucky girl chopsgirl!

Jaime, you can take any recipe from this board or any website and using soapcalc reduce it to a 2lb batch. If you need help, just pm.
Have you studied the miller soap site?

question Paul, wouldn't driving the dividers in mess up the swirls?
-
Well, I test drove the new TOG Mini 6 bar Slab Divider Mold today. It holds 24 ounces of oils to make a batch of 6 bars, 3-3/8" long by 2-1/2" high by 1-1/8" thick. It was really cool to swirl in this size mold! You get 6 bars, kinda fun and cool!
Paul....
Hip Hip Hooray!!! Like Eugenia I like my bars 2.5x3.5 but I'm willing to learn to live with a smaller bar.
-
That's wierd. Something's wrong with the link now. It was working yesterday.
-
Yeah, it's a great tutorial. I learned so much from it. Thanks Bunny!!!!
-
1 lb batches are all I've done. 7 of them so far and no zap! I do take my time measuring & re-measuring to make sure everything's right.
-
Yes, good idea mystical_. Also good for us newbies to practice swirling.
-
yep I saw that but it's a log. I prefer slabs. I had someone create a 1lb slab for me and I'm working on him doing a 2lb one.
That TOG 12 bar w/divider looks real nice but that's way too much soap for me right now. Maybe a year or two down the road.

TOG Mold Co-op is coming up very soon.
Oh Wow! I've been hearing wonderful things about these. Since I'm just a hobbyist, I find his molds too large for my use. Maybe someday that'll change. So I'll definitely be watching this closely.
-
Yep, like everyone said, you did a great job & they're beautiful!
-
Wow. They're beautiful. Are those cp? How'd you get it to do that?
