1. Thses are somthing new I've just tried to make. These are pantry or war cakes made from wax. I decorate in the primitive style so they fit right in. Does anyone know another way to make these, out of dough?
2. I requested a few samples, got a phone call that night to confirm my addy. I got the samples two days later in the mail. Go figure!
3. Does this look like those claw machine beads to anyone else?
4. I don't know. Maybe sand casting? Look up sand casting and see if anything comes up.
5. Oh the feet! They are so realistic! Great job.
6. Yesterday when I came across this I asked if it was safe and was the bottom acrylic. Here's what was waiting in my inbox at ebay. DEAR JENNIFER SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO GET BACK TO YOU. NO THIS IS NOT AN ACRYLIC, IT IS OUR OWN FORMULA HOWEVER THE TOP PART IS GELL WAX AND IS REFILLABLE. IT HAS A MINNIMUM OF 80 HRS BURN TIME. TO SEE OUR OTHER WONDERFULL PRODUCTS PLEASE GO TO CANDLESCHOCOLATESANDSOAPS.COM really unique idea. She said that it's jell on top and refillable. So I don't think that it's anyhignt towith a tealight. She has some nice looking stuff on her website.
7. I was looking for candle supplies on ebay and came across this. It looks like a jell candle, but she says only the top part burns. I'm thinking that she used the stuff that looks like water in floral arrangements. Acrylic I guess it would be. I don't see how this would be safe. Here's the item # just copy/paste in the search box on ebay. 170103329809
8. Yes, it's $3.00 extra and optional. I strongly suggest that they buy them.
9. I have a b/w laser printer. Dell 1710. It works great! But I need color on my labels. I'll be buying a lazer printer in the next few weeks. Thanks for all the reviews! Jennifer
10. I forgot to add. The walls are not as thick as the top of the candle. I would stay it's not quite and inch thick.
11. The light showes beautifully. The walls are a bit thicker then some molds but I find only the really dark reds have trouble with the light comming through. I'll post a pic of it glowing! I couldn't get my camera to take a great pic, but you get the idea!
12. I think that is odd. What does flash point have to do with rosehips??? Granted I'm a new-b. I use my FO in my rose hips with wonderful results! I use a cello bag. Pour the rosehips in then add enough oil to lightly coat the rosehips. I let them set over night then package them. If I'm wrong someone let me know. I've never seen oil geared just to rosehips.
13. Not that brand but looks just like gulf wax to me. I would think it's pure paraffin for canning and such. Should be fine to use. HTH
14. I have a ton of silicone molds in the shapes of: Buttons, apples, gingerbead men, pineapples, pumpkins, etc that I make along with the electric candles. I just pour the left over wax into a few of the embed molds, let them harden, take my drimel tool and drill a hole to hang them from. It's super easy and it addes alot to my packages. I'm addicted to these electric candles. I've sold close to 30 in a month and 1/2 and have 20 on order just waiting for my candle pans. I found a little antique shop that is going to let me set up in their shop. I'm going to be offering about 10 differnt items, no real candles yet, I haven't had the time to test. But I'll have: Electric candles smelly jelly fixin's pantry cakes sugar cones Soy tarts Gourmet soy tarts (in shapes of cookies and the like) and I make the jar lights We will see how the shop thing goes. But if it falls through I'm doing well enough on my own.
15. I ordered 170 candle pans but they were 1/2inch too small. So I had to order another 100 candle pans. I'm waiting on my pans or I would have posted it complete. Here's some candles that are in the package. I make little ornies to give my package some pop. I think they look much better in person. ATTACH]11105
16. Hello, I make electric candles. Been making them for a little while now. Here's one of my new ones. It's my Birthday Cake candle scented FROSTED Cupcake! Smells so good! I place these on a cream or rusty candle pan and package it with cello tied with raffia. Any comments or how I could improve would be helpful!
17. When you sale this I would put a warning on the label about having peanuts in it. Some are so allergic to peanuts it causes death. I would also sterilize EVERYTHING that has come in contact with the peanutbutter. My daughter's school has banned peanuts due to a near death of a 3rd grader several years ago. I don't know if the peanut butter has to be ingested or not. But better safe then sorry. Anyone lese have concers about the peanuts? But I would LOVE to smell it. I bet it is divine!!!
18. Smoke is the worst thing. I don't smoke so I can always smell it when an item as been stored in a smokers house. I've bought molds that smelled of smoke and haven't been about to get the odor out. I don't know how you could keep it from picking up the smoke odor. Maybe you could take this a a sign and quit. Maybe keeping baking soda in the same container would help. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
19. I'm this way about everything! I blame it on beeing very poor growing up and now that I can afford it I WANT it. I got into orchids. I bought 40 orchids, some costing over $100.00 each. I bought little mini green house. I bought clay pots, bark, plant food, moss and moisture readers. I babied them for about 3 months, I lost interest! They were devided up between my dad and MIL. I got into quilting! Bought templates, fabric, cutters, and mat boards. I bought a quilting frame, I got sewing notions, books and more! I lost interest! Now it's candle stuff. I've got 7 differnt electric molds, about 20 fixin's molds. I got 20+ oils no smaller then 16oz. I got dye blocks, wax, pour pots. I got jars, (for fixin's) I got packageing material. All told the candle stuff has went well over $1,500 and I need more supplies! LOL. My husband must love me or he thinks my novel will be finished soon!
20. I'm not at all into bath and body products, but yours have me drooling!!! Very nice texture, the scrub looks awsome!
21. Thanks for the tip. I just went and downloaded a bunch of clipart for less then $15.00. They are just the cuitest things!
22. I sale my 1 oz tart 5/$4 I put them in cello bags and then into a small windowless craft bag. I put the sent label on the kraft bag.
23. Love those! Have you looked for frosted vases? If you got frosted ones you really wouldn't see the stems. If you have already bought the clear ones I would tape them together. Either way they are just beautiful.
