  1. You're welcome. They are great to work with.
  2. Thanks, glad it wasn't just me! Figures that it's down when I want to order something!
  3. The one on the right is perfect! Great job....what scent is it?
  4. I just made my first pillar, so am NOT an expert, but I tried some of the grandkids' silly putty, and it worked great
  5. Does anyone have their phone number? I was going to place an order with them for the first time today, and can't seem to get thru on their website. Thanks.... Sandra
  6. I use Just by Nature in Mesquite TX. They are probably the closest to you. They ship same day. Great customer service. Their FO are great too
  7. Thanks Kalamazoo.......I pm'd ya back. I did zap the mold with the heat gun (I love playing with that thing) before pouring. Makes the wax crystal so much better. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I love this forum. Everyone is so helpful! Sandra:yay:
  8. http://www.lonestarcandlesupply.com/molds.html This is the ball mold I used (scroll down on the page). I don't know what they're called. I did scrape the seam with a sharp knife to remove the excess. If it did cool faster than the rest of the candle...how would I prevent it from doing that? Thanks Tangerine...creme brulee is my fav also. Most candles I make for me and DH are either creme brulee or hot fudge brownie!
  9. I really like the heart one. Very pretty!
  10. These are my first ever ball candle and pillar. The ball candle is mango papaya, and the pillar is creme brulee with cafe au latte. I have a question: I see everyone's ball candles on here, and they are so smooth and pretty, can't tell where the mold seam was. Is it the mold I'm using (From Lonestar), or do I need to do something else to it? Thanks! http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w109/rnmom1118/DSC00430.jpg
  11. Yea! I just won my bid on ebay for 24 enfamil bottles. I'm so excited!
  12. when we are asked for samples of any of our products, we always offer to sell them a sample at wholesale price. we don't give away any freebies anymore. we learned years ago that people will ask, saying they want to consider selling our products, we'd send some, then we'd never hear from them again. we figured that if we offered to sell one or two at wholesale, we'd quickly find out who was serious, and who just wanted freebies. HTH
  13. I did find someone on Ebay that had enfamil bottles, but looks like they may go for higher than I want to pay. I listed an ad on freecycle for the baby food jars and bottles. Someone is saving baby food jars for me (my grandchildren have outgrown that stage), but no responses to the glass bottles. Who would have thought that they'd be that hard to find!
  14. Wow! the pic is really big...how do you get it smaller?
  15. Here's the new label we created (I promised I'd post it). Hope you can see it well enough. SOme of the print at the bottom is too small to see in the pic. I designed it, and had printmything.com do them on the gold foil. I love the gold foil, but couldn't print on them with the injet printer. We had a laser printer, but the cartridges were more expensive than the printer itself. Thanks for looking! (Hope I posted the pic right!)
  16. Thanks for the link, Demenshia. I'm an RN, and checked with our local hospital, they only use plastic. Checked the samples that we give out at our dr's office, plastic! The glass ones are expensive, but guess I'll have to bite the bullet if I don't find any others.
  17. Bea, Where did you find glass baby bottles? I've been searching for them everywhere for the same purpose. I've made some in plastic bottles, but makes me very nervous. Would be for decorative purposes only, not to burn. I use eco wicks in palm wax. The plastic bottles won't melt when you pour wax in them, but they don't hold up when, or if, you have to use a heat gun! If you could let me know where you got your glass bottles from, I'd be forever grateful! Sandra
  18. Yes, Yes, Yes...it does!!! I love this wax!
  19. I don't use any stearic either. With palm wax, they'll just slip right out when they are cool enough.
  20. have you tried red hot cinnamon from ng? it is great!
  21. We just redesigned our labels. We had printmything.com do them. Just wanted to let everyone know that they did a fantastic job, and the set up fee was very reasonable. The particular label I wanted I just couldn't produce myself. Susan was fantastic to work with, and they got them to us quickly. I told her that I'd let everyone know about them since we were so happy with them!
  22. I would wait till it's completely cool to take it out, say tomorrow morning. I use eco wicks in my candles...love them. I don't know what others have found out, but my palm doesn't seem to need to cure at all. I burn them right away, and they smell great. They do increase in smell with time though. HTH
  23. I love every one of their scents that I've bought. Not a bad one in the lot!
  24. We process our credit cards through a credit card service, so it's easier to tell if there's a scam, but you might also see if the email address is valid. Often scammers will use a fake email address. A lot of times customers will have their name as part of their email address. That's a good way to tell also. Don't know if you can tell with paypal, but is the name listed on the credit card the same as the person it's being shipped to? Just some ideas!
  25. Strawberries and Cream, and Black Raspberry Vanilla, both from NG
