  1. I can tell you with 100% certainty that this does not work! I've poured several times, and even used mold release, and can't get the candle out of the mold! I've got that votive holder glued down with pure silicone, which holds beautifully, but can't get the wax out!!! I'm going to die figuring this out!
  2. What a beautiful set-up. Your candles are amazing looking....great banner too!
  3. thanks for the suggestions....I did let it sit overnight. I finally had to take the heat gun to it to get it out. My ball mold, it took some convincing, but finally got it out. I'll speak with Diane tomorrow at CT to see if there might be a possibility that they gave me the wrong wax. With my palm wax from JBN, it slides out with no hesitation at all! I love the pattern with this wax (from CS) much better
  4. thanks, I'll try that. Have never had to use it before!
  5. those are beautiful....great job!
  6. candlescience has a csn 16 now that wasn't on their websight earlier. I think it's only on the spool though. Might try that! Your candles sure are beautiful. any problems getting them to release from the mold? I can't get mine out to save my life!
  7. Has anyone else had a problem with Candlescience new palm wax releasing from pillar molds? My regular palm just slips right out, but I can't get them out of the molds! I've got them in the frig now, if that doesn't work, I'll take the heat gun to them. :undecided
  8. I use palm wax...had my spigot clog up once too. No explanation why. The next day when I used it, it was fine. I heat my wax up to 210, and pour at 200. You need to make sure your containers that you are pouring in to are hot when you pour the wax in, and just cool them sitting on a table is fine. You should get the beautiful effects. HTH
  9. I got the new candlescience chocolate fudge too....haven't put it in wax yet, but smells heavenly OOB! I love Lonestar's Hot Fudge Brownie too
  10. just beautiful! Can't wait to try my new shipment out. Am trying their FO for the 1st time. OOB is fantastic. Ladysj, be sure and check on the shipping. I found that it was cheaper to ship from candlescience to KS than it was from JBN in TX.
  11. Those are simply beautiful. My mom would love those!
  12. If you order from jumbogreetingcards.com you can add as many lines and as many words on it as you want on your banner. You can also put multiple photos, collage, logo, borders, etc. Very reasonably priced and fast shipping.
  13. Thanks for sharing the info with us. I think that's not a bad burn either. I placed an order yesterday with CS for their wax (shipping was cheaper to KS than it was from TX to KS, go figure that!) and their new wicks. Can't wait to try them. Great job, and thanks again for sharing your results. Helps us all learn! Sandra
  14. They loook very tasty! yummy....great job!
  15. Bruce, do you have a pic of what you are talking about? I've not tried silicone at all. Di, you need to try the pillars. They are very easy and fun!
  16. thanks sheila, that's what I wanted to know!
  17. I'll try contacting Trippies, thanks. There has got to be a place to purchase them cheaper. I figure that Levines and others must be marking up at least double, so need to find a place that they get them from, and maybe we can coop. Thanks
  18. I'd be willing to do that if I could find a company! Any ideas?
  19. several thoughts, don't know how many you need, but you can get labels from onlinelabels.com. they are crystal clear, and can be bought for laser of injet. You have to buy a lot though. How many do you need? Another thought would be a cardstock type band to wrap around your candle with all your info on it. HTH
  20. Thanks! I've read all the stuff, but was wondering if anyone uses it and do they think it's worth adding. It's only available now through Candlewic. Scottcrew has discontinued it. Just don't know if it's worth it or not. I've purchased some to play with, but want others' opinions
