  1. Especially at this time of year, it is pumpkin anything. Been blending pumpkin with eggnog, cornbread, apple butter, creme brulee...yum! Also loving Spiced Cranberry from Wildfire. That stuff is so amazing! It's the kind of scent where you walk into a room and say, "What is that delicious smell?" Only have an ounce of it left, but trying to withhold from placing another FO order. I need more FO like I need a hole in my head! LOL
  2. Oh yeah, the Wisteria from FOH was incredible. Hopefully, Elements will bring it on board!
  3. I've heard that Southern Scentsations has the best one. I don't use soy, but I tried it in paraffin and it was great. http://www.greatcandle.com/
  4. Pumpkin Praline does sound good! What about a straight cheesecake? I've done a Pumpkin Apple Butter before. That was yummy! I think it was Candle Source's Apple Butter. Also, I love patchouli and have some Pumpkin Patchouli from JS. That stuff is to-die-for!
  5. If you have any KY Roasted Coffee, that would be nice. I'm having a cup of Pumpkin Coffee right now.
  6. Yep, Day-Star has it. I just found a sample on the classifieds. Yay! Can't wait to get it.
  7. Wildfire's Ms. Randy's Vanilla Bean. YUM!
  8. Peak's Vanilla Mint...I think it's super strong. I did some votives in 4794 with HTP-41 wicks and the throw was awesome.
  9. I made 3 batches of tarts with the Candle Source wax yesterday...using it for the first time. I like 'em strong, so I maxed out the scent at 8.5%. To make it easier, I just added an oz of FO (Peak White Tea & Ginger, CSource Granny's Zucchini Bread, and CSource J&J Bedtime Bath) to 12 oz of wax. I liked working with the wax, but it was kinda hard to get the tarts out of the molds. Maybe they needed to sit for longer...I don't know. I was able to get a few clamshells and several tarts out of each batch. They seem to have good cold throw. Will wait probably at least a week or so before I test them. I'm itchin' to make the Black Magic now that I have a sample of that to use up. lol Oh, and don't get me started on the WF FO. Just get one of each! Fireside Inn is one of my all-time favorites! Also love her Cactus Lime Sugar, Spiced Cranberry, Vanilla Romance, Pumpkin Pie Spice, and Tin Star.
  10. Thanks, Ravens. Got it! Mmmm! I love Celtic Moonspice. Think I may pour some tarts in that today as well. I am going to be a tart-pourin' fool today! lol Me thinks I should have ordered more than one slab of that wax...:rolleyes2
  11. I found a sample of Peak's White Tea & Ginger in my drawer. Yay! That will be my first batch of tarts with the CandleSource wax. Wish I could find the Winter Night on Day-Star's site, though. You've got me intrigued! I will have to keep checking back. I'm curious what's in it. If you're liking it now, I'm suspecting it is not a piney scent. Guess I'll just have to keep my eye out for it...
  12. I just got my Candle Source tart wax! Gonna make some tarts today!
  13. Carrie, I called Candle Source before I placed my order last week and they said it was the container blend that they use for tarts.
  14. My Candle Source tart wax should be here in the next day or so.
  15. I either use 1.5 oz or 2 oz per pound when I make tarts with KY's Parasoy...just depends on how I'm feeling at the moment. I like my tarts super strong!
  16. Never heard of them, but just checked out their site. On their "About Us" page, they say they provide flavors and fragrances for the food industry.
  17. Love them all! Would love to purchase some of those...especially the Old South Pumpkin Pie, if that is from OT.
  18. Darn! Now I'm wishing I had gotten a sample of the Apples & Evergreen. I just placed an order the other day and opted out on that one. I did get the Pumpkin Carrot Struesal and Fantasy. And I second the Pumpkin Vanilla and Cinnamon & Sandalwood. Both are awesome. I have to say that the Pumpkin Vanilla is one of my favorite pumpkins (and I have tried a bunch).
  19. CandleSource's Sugared Spruce is very good.
  20. I noticed that they have a new place in Oregon, too. Haven't ordered from them in a long time, but just placed an order the other day to try that tart wax. I was hoping maybe they would ship from there instead of Ohio. I am in New Mexico, so it would be closer. Guess I should have asked when I called about the wax. :rolleyes2 The woman who answered didn't seem very friendly at all, though, and seemed bothered by my call. She was short with me and grumpy. Oh well, maybe she was just having a bad day. Don't know who she was, but I have called there before and spoke to Loren. He was really nice. Nevertheless, I am excited to try that wax!
  21. Vanilla Bean Noel ~ the best out there Apple Mango Tango This Old House ~ perfect for this time of year!
  22. Okay, I just ordered a slab of the container wax from Candle Source for making tarts. I called and asked them which wax they used for their tarts since I could not find it stated anywhere on their site. I wanted to make sure that I got the right one! Someone said on this thread that they used the pillar & votive wax for tarts, but I wanted to double check. I will post my results after I test this wax out!
  23. I saw Twilight Woods at Bath & Body Works. I fell in love with it, and my daughter said it is her best friend's favorite. They are 13, so it may be a good one for teenagers. I have a sample from NG, but not sure how close it is to the original.
