  1. The accounting dept. at work ordered two gift baskets to give to their supervisors for Bosses Day. Basket 1 contains a square mason (in back), 2-8 oz. jj's and a 4 oz. jj (front). Basket 2 contains 2 square masons, 2-8 oz. jj's and has an auto air freshener hanging on the outside of the basket. My picture taking techniques need GREAT improvement but I thought I'd share anyway. Thanks for looking.

  2. I am hosting my very first open house at the end of the month. My cousin will be co-hosting, selling her original designed jewelry. I would appreciate any suggestions from others who have hosted open houses before as to how you have made your open house a success. Please let me know if we are on the right track:

We have flyers made up and ready to mail. The open house is scheduled for a three-hour time period. We are both offering a door prize with a value of approximately $35. To enter the drawing for the door prizes, we will have slips for everyone to fill out, which will ask for their name, address, phone number and email address (we will add this info. to our future mailing lists). We will be serving light refreshments and we will be offering "open house specials," will have cash and carry items, and will take orders for items as well. I will be offering fall and holiday fragrances, as well as my year-round best sellers.

Okay, let 'er rip! I'm open to any suggestions any of you have! TIA!!!

  3. A person can't sit and worry about the "what if's." That doesn't mean you should not be prepared for something to happen, but things will happen whether you worry about them or not. Just be sure to cover all your bases ... produce the safest product possible, post adequate warning labels, carry a good amount of insurance ... then enjoy what you do.

  4. hi there...are these the type of tart molds you are looking for?

    http://www.thecandlesource.com/catalog/i485.html

these are the ones I have, but I find it difficult to get the tart out without breaking a small part off the edge. I am looking for just plain round tart molds....anyone know where to find those?

    joni

I use these type molds with no problem. If I put them in the freezer for a short time, the tarts pop right out of the mold.
