Welcome to our addiction!

VERY professional looking!

I can certainly see why they sell out. Those are so darned cute!!! You do fantastic work!

That is absolutely gorgeous!! My sister would LOVE that ... her kitchen is decorated with roosters.

What a unique idea ... love the eaten apple look! Cute!!!
BTW, MacIntosh Apple is one of my FAVORITE fragrances!!!

At times I've cursed the fact that our garage is under our house (takes half of our basement away), but now I'm grateful. It stays pretty cool in my garage, even in the summer, so I've never had to worry about the wax melting like that. Yikes!

It is SO great to be back! I was having severe withdrawal!!! Thanks to Alan and all the others who brought us "back to life" again!!!!

I am not sure if you have tried this, but supposedly you should add your fo only a little before you pour...long enough to get a good bond, but not too long or it will cook off. I usually add the dye after my wax has melted, then wait until about 15 degrees before i want to pour...stir your fo for a minute to make sure you get a good mix...just stirring will help it cool faster. then try pouring and let it cure before you burn. it may help!
I, too, add my dye after the wax has melted, then add my FO shortly before I pour. Also, make sure you measure the FO by weight. A digital scale is by far the best way to go. You can get them at most any store that sells kitchen stuff. I got mine at Walmart.

I do both - use pre-tabbed and tab my own. Actually I tab the remainder of the wick after I cut it off.
I do the exact same thing. Use a needle nose pliers ... it's really easy.

Tall, all of the candles you posted are beautiful! Love 'em!

I've seen them at Sam's Club. Don't know if Costco has any but it's worth a look.

I'll be doing Cinnamon Balsam, Cornucopia, Grandma's Kitchen, Mulberry, Pumpkin Spice, and Spiced Apple for fall and winter.

8 oz. jelly jars and 4 oz. quilted jelly jars. People love the 4 ozer's to sample a fragrance before they purchase the larger sizes.

I was at our local Cracker Barrel restaurant recently and saw some small hex jar candles for sale. They had no labeling whatsoever except for the fragrance. I commented to my husband that I couldn't believe they could sell candles packaged this way in a store!

Those are so neat. And thanks, Candle Man, for sharing your "recipe." I think I am going to make some of those for my fall craft fair in November. Scented in Cinnamon and displayed in a basket, I think they would be a real hit.

I was using the Ecosoya VB and had the same problems. Had too much wax left to ditch, though, so started making votives with 1/2 VB and 1/2 Ecosoya CB135. That seemed to have solved the problem and I still get nice, firm votives. When the Ecosoya VB is used up, though, I'm going to try the KY.

Congratulations! I remember how exciting that first sale was. I still get excited when I sell one of my creations! Best of luck to you.
New to this all and need help :)
