  1. Blend HEB-Plus Herbal Shampoo, Bubble Bath, Bath Gel and Hand Soap Concentrate

Sheila, have you tried this base from the chemistry store? IT seems like it would be a good one, and b/c you can use it for many different applications, makes it a plus?

It says it has a high viscosity (lather) which is what the poster and most of us are looking for. ;)

Just wondering if you've used it and how it is?

    Besides, it's a GREAT GREAT price. :D

The Blend HEB Plus is one of my favorites because it is soooooo thick! You do need to add a bit of distilled water to thin it down but I love the way it doesn't get all soupy when you add fo . I also use the Blend 213 and Blend NBB (both are good shampoos) and the Blend BBC Bubble Bath isn't bad but I use the heb plus for bubble bath and shower gel etc.

I have used the Aloe Body Wash from BC and when you add fo it gets very thin.

  2. The Chemistry Store http://www.chemistrystore.com/ has several different formulations and I have tried and like them all. In fact I order the shampoo and conditioner for family use. You can get a 4 qt. sample pack for $22.00 and they have frequent sales. For now they are located down in Pompano but are moving to S.Carolina which I'm hating!! I have been spoiled by ordering one day and having it on my porch by the next day. They also have a nice variety of supplies for B&B

  3. I e-mailed them and received 5 free samples (2oz size) before I ever placed an order.

Their cust.service is not the best in as far as I never received a shipping notice and had to call them to find out where my order was after 3 weeks of not hearing anything. I ordered 15 lbs. of premium assorted dupes. because they had all of the ones I wanted and it saved me from having to order from a dozen different suppliers. They are all good and smell true to the original. Primarily I use them in B&B ( only tried 1 in CP and it was a disaster which I had to assume was the fo since it was a tried and true soap recipe) The only wax I've put them in is tarts so I can't say how they would do in candles.

  4. Remember the EpiLady..oh about 15 years ago..it had wires that spun and ripped the hair out by the root..my mom bought me one..and I tried to use it once..and threw it across the room...after using a few choice words..that shocked her.

The first time I tried waxing my legs (20 yrs ago) I did two strips and said never again!! But-- when the hair started growing back in I noticed that the waxed section didn't have any hair for 6 weeks so I decided to give it another try. After waxing for a while the skin becomes desensitized and it really doesn't hurt but it's messy ( I only used zip-wax ) so when I was given my first EpiLady I loved it!!! Now I hardly have any hair on my legs at all. If you wax a couple of times and then use the EpiLady it doesn't hurt at all and you will never want to be bothered with shaving again.

  5. The throw in palm isn't as strong as in parrafin but I have never had the wax smell overtake the fo but the palm I use doesn't have much of an odor.

Yes a lot of peeps have changed their name. I think there is a thread on off topic that has some old and new names.

Oh and no need to add palm steric jenniejr

  6. Several of us here have done extensive testing on wicking those nasty little 2" pillars without success. I finally gave up on it due to extreme frustration because like you said, either the flame was too wimpy or you get a blowout. I think EB Candles (Carmen) did find a wick for them but I can't remember which one it was and it didn't work for me. Good Luck!
