Dude, seriously, you're 16?
And running a business?
And going to school?
And probably have all those 16 year old problems that come with angst and socializing that take up valuable time?
You may be playing a little fast and loose with some of those regulations, but that's not my personal concern. I am more interested in knowing if you've seen a psychologist about the possibility of having ADHD?
You're sending up some pretty large red flags there buddy, I should know, I happen to be a professional when I'm not making soap.
The only possible way you could complete everything you need to, to sell your products effectively and ethically (on top of all the time you spend in class) is if you don't sleep a hell of a lot. If that is the case, you need to see someone.
Otherwise, you're full of crap.
WELL SAID!!!!!

I don't have any suggestions, sorry. Keep us posted on what works though, we may have the same problem sometime. Oh, and I use hot wax (well, not hot enough to burn me) to get dye off of my hands.

I knew I saved a link for the metal sprayers, somewhere on my list, after searching lots of sites, here it is. Don't know if it is a good price or not, haven't tried them but want to in the future. http://www.freundcontainer.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_AB60_A_cn_E_60

Sorry, I read it wrong. Thanks for clearing that up. I guess I shouldn't post so early in the morning. LOL

The candlesource has a base too. It says linen and body spray. SO when we label it body spray we have to list the ingrediants?

Wow, that's expensive. Check out Millcreek or ICS, much cheaper.

I don't know where to post this question, maybe the crafters can help me.....
I dipped plush snowmen last year and can't find any yet. Does anyone know of a supplier that carries them? The ones I used last year I found locally. They had hats, a scarf, sticks for arms and were "fat". (don't know how else to describe them) I appreciate any help you can offer.

I have only used Millcreeks, it was very good so I stopped looking.

I have not had a problem with any scent. Although, baby powder gags me!!!!! Some do discolor the white so use a cream or tan bear instead. I have had good luck just explaining to customers that the white will not be true and not had any complaints. Even with my snowmen, I sold out of the cinnamon "cream" colored ones last year. Made them look rustic I guess, they didn't care about the color, just the scent!

Welcome home Geek!!!!! Good to see you back!
After all that excercise, you should be in great shape to lift all of those cases of candles! LOL! Congrats on your accomplishment this summer, and on your candle order.
Hey, when you find the "perfect candle" instructions, please share with the rest of us, I didn't know there was such a thing!! (I must be too picky!)

Nope, sounds right. I bake mine for about 4-5 minutes so they are more bumpy. My logic is that the longer you bake them, the more FO burns off. You can bake them longer so they are smoother but IMHO they don't last as long. Have fun with them!

Hey, Hey, we're the Monkeys....... Yea, you're right on that one!
That was very cool! I only make container candles, but that makes me want to venture out into the world of pillars! Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on the upgrade to a presto. Embrace the presto and your candlemaking will never be the same!!!!!! I have my presto (with a spigot) sitting on a tile on one of those plastic 3 drawer organizers so it is high enough for my pour pot to be under the spigot sitting on the scale, I also always have a thermometer in the presto so I can keep an eye on the temp. I pour the wax into the pot and weigh at the same time, then weigh the fo and add color. I also have all of my wicks, centering tools, wire cutters, etc. handy in the drawers when I need them. I LOVE my presto pot, I want to get another one to have side by side melting ability. (the turkey fryers scare me!) Good luck with yours!!!

I use the cello bags from Millcreek http://www.mcsoywax.com/supplies.htm
I have had no problem with these and they look very nice with the critter in it.

-Very cool! Do you hand paint the lettering or stencil?
-
I have one that my DH got at a tool store for around $20. I don't use it all the time but it is nice to have just incase I need it. Sometimes the tops look FUNKY and it's great for clean-up. Just keep your fingers out of the way. I almost always use mine on the lower temp.

That's great to hear after the co-op problems. I love OBI warmers but I can drive occasionally to pick them up.
-
Those look too cute to use! Good job!

Those are very creative! Good job!

Very pretty chunks!!!!

I have great luck with the MC FO's although I use 444 wax. I agree to add your FO at a cooler temp to see if that helps. One question though, where do you find ECO 16 wicks? I get my ECO's at BC and they only have up to 14. A 16 may help me with one of my jars.

That was alot of work I'm sure. Thanks for sharing with us, I too wish it was for soy.
BizzyB- What other ICS oils made the cut for you?
-
What do your normal labels look like? I am having the same problem with the Libby barrel jars. PITA isn't it?
-
Congratulations. Nice to make money at your craft, isn't it?

SNUP, that's good! Thanks everyone for sharing your favorites! It's amazing how we now look at trash for other uses! lol:laugh2:

Very pretty Chickie! I have only made foundation with the kit I bought. I hope I can come close to how good your makeup looks when I take the time to try it.
