  1. Dude, seriously, you're 16?

    And running a business?

    And going to school?

And probably have all those 16 year old problems that come with angst and socializing that take up valuable time?

You may be playing a little fast and loose with some of those regulations, but that's not my personal concern. I am more interested in knowing if you've seen a psychologist about the possibility of having ADHD?

You're sending up some pretty large red flags there buddy, I should know, I happen to be a professional when I'm not making soap.

The only possible way you could complete everything you need to, to sell your products effectively and ethically (on top of all the time you spend in class) is if you don't sleep a hell of a lot. If that is the case, you need to see someone.

    Otherwise, you're full of crap.

    WELL SAID!!!!!

  2. I don't know where to post this question, maybe the crafters can help me.....

I dipped plush snowmen last year and can't find any yet. Does anyone know of a supplier that carries them? The ones I used last year I found locally. They had hats, a scarf, sticks for arms and were "fat". (don't know how else to describe them) I appreciate any help you can offer.

  3. I have not had a problem with any scent. Although, baby powder gags me!!!!! Some do discolor the white so use a cream or tan bear instead. I have had good luck just explaining to customers that the white will not be true and not had any complaints. Even with my snowmen, I sold out of the cinnamon "cream" colored ones last year. Made them look rustic I guess, they didn't care about the color, just the scent!

  4. Nope, sounds right. I bake mine for about 4-5 minutes so they are more bumpy. My logic is that the longer you bake them, the more FO burns off. You can bake them longer so they are smoother but IMHO they don't last as long. Have fun with them!

  5. Congrats on the upgrade to a presto. Embrace the presto and your candlemaking will never be the same!!!!!! I have my presto (with a spigot) sitting on a tile on one of those plastic 3 drawer organizers so it is high enough for my pour pot to be under the spigot sitting on the scale, I also always have a thermometer in the presto so I can keep an eye on the temp. I pour the wax into the pot and weigh at the same time, then weigh the fo and add color. I also have all of my wicks, centering tools, wire cutters, etc. handy in the drawers when I need them. I LOVE my presto pot, I want to get another one to have side by side melting ability. (the turkey fryers scare me!) Good luck with yours!!!
