  1. I have used them for the white gloss and like that (I ordered some clear circle labels but haven't used them yet). For the clear, I have gotten them from the classies (from onlinelabels.com) Don't know if that helps you or not, but just thought I would give you my :2cents:

  2. When I have done M&P in that type of mold I start to push the soap out, get it as far out of the mold as I want the thickness of the soap to be then hold my cutter tight to the mold and cut. I get pretty straight cuts that way.

I am using the same as MochaMama, the pampered chef one. I am going to try this technique next, hopefully my blade is not too flimsy for it. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll keep you posted, maybe I'll go melt some soap right now.

  3. I successfully molded pink sugar MP soap into a flower Pampered Chef bread mold without leaking all over, it came out of the mold beautifully, but when I tried to cut it I couldn't get an even cut. I have a wavy vegetable knife and tried that. I love the wavy look but it is too flimsy to cut straight. Tried a regular knife, same uneven result. Any suggestions? I like the look of the flower shape and don't want to give up on it without trying everything. Thanks for any suggestions.

  4. I LOVE that!!!!!!!! I just made a tester citronella candle in a veggie can (got lucky with the wick choice) but thought it would look better rusted. I am going to try the vinegar thing, hopefully it will work for me.

Quick question, how in the world do you punch a hole in the can??????? I tried a nail and hammer but just kept bending the can. Do I need to break out the drill? (scares me, never drilled a hole before) What kind of wire do you use? I hadn't thought about a handle, I was just thinking of putting a design along the top of the can to act as decorative air holes.
