  1. The way I cool my Glass Glow from candlescience is - when I start melting the wax I turn AC off. Just before pouring turn ceiling fan off. Then I pour and put on a dish drain turned upside down so the air can circulate around it. Candlescience says to use a cookie rack or something similar and I just preferred the dish drain because it was more sturdy. That is all I do once mine starts to cooling and the crystalize just fine. I do not turn air or fan back on until after it candle has cooled. hth
  2. I also get my labels from them and they are quick and I have been well pleased with the labels.
  3. Oh Evesorto - I too just love the Nantucket Briar. They have d/c the original though they still have the newer version. I like the old better. Ordered the newer to try and still have not gotten around to it. The Mango Sorbet has also been very popular. Can't think of any that are not good!
  4. I bought mine from Lonestar. It was always a favorite of mine.
  5. somanyscents.com - that is what they say below. Feel free to contact us anytime. Thank You for visiting The Scent Wizard's Fragrance Store!
  6. Very nice labels. Are you sure the ribbon wouldn't take from them? I like them the way they are.
  7. It would be almost inpossible to beat candlescience shipping. They have the cheapest of any I have seen. If you place a very large order with about 6 cases wax, 10 cases of jars and some fo = over 400 lbs and it only cost 121.00 to ship UPS to GA, that can't be beat! They called me and told me if ship by truck it would be even cheaper! Now that is CS
  8. I have only used candlescience's. I wouldn't think of using any other:yay:
  9. Anabanana - Got the gold cord from papermart.com.
  10. My little logo - very simple one - but all I wanted for labels, I did at logomaker.com. You can create very simple logos for less than 50.00, don't remember exact cost. I created them on visual labels, a simple software program I downloaded at http://www.rkssoftware.com/. I also use their visual labels along with the avery software for labels. Printed my logo on front of card and on back of card my web address. On inside put name of candle and weight on inside L and on the inside R printed caution label. Still put sticker caution on bottom of jar though. Hope I haven't rambled to much. Thanks for compliments on hang tag!
  11. Yes - I just used the business card and printed front and back on 1 side and then turned over and printer inside - both sides. They did turn out pretty good. First time I had tried the cards like that. I like hang tags but they take up to much time and when you pack them I am always afraid they will get bent.
  12. I am always adding and taking away trying to get my number smaller but it seems for everyone 1 take away, I add 2 or 3:p It is definitely an addiction!
  13. OH, I like the sound-name of Mediterranean Sea Salt Munch. I ordered the Salty Sea & Savannah Sunset (cause of Savannah GA) but some of the other ones sound so good may have to try them also. Decisions-Decisions:confused: Think I will probably have to order the Oceans! So many good reviews Also ordered Sun & Sand and Seaspray from WSP. Probably getting to many beachy smells but I just don't know when to stop.

  15. Thanks everybody , now I am totally confused:confused: Think I should order all of them:laugh2:
  16. Thanks Candlebuddy - that is it:yay:
  17. thanks Luci - saw that one but it seems like, and it could be another forum, that I have seen something about salty sea or similar.
  18. Just tried it to be sure - double click your text and when text box comes up L click to select your text and then you can change font and color.
  19. I thought I had seen post about a salty sea or something like that fragrance oil but can't find i using search. Anyone know????
  20. Citygrl707 - that is the glass glow palm wax from candlescience. Love, love, love it:yay:
  21. I use an ink jet printer - Epson. That is the only printer I have ever used. I buy the labels for ink jet printer. In the beginning I tried using the gold foil labels and got the gold foil for laser, because then I didn't know any better, and when printed on my ink jet printer the print would rub off. Don't know if that would happen with clear labels for laser on ink jet printer or not. hth
  22. I buy a lot of my oils from WSP, always wait so I have 50.00 and use the fragranceandflavors.com site. I have not been disappointed in any of them. Usually 1 oz is all you need and a couple a little less.
  23. I use the palm wax from candlescience and don't have any trouble with air pockets and don't poke relief holes in the container wax, not necessary. I like working with the glass glow better than the frost. Tops finish off smooth and fine. On pillars I do not repour, when I level the bottoms off I put the shaved off wax back in the holes and little heat from gun and it's good to go.
  24. I use high temp glue sticks in my glue gun, don't trust nothing else!
  25. Jakalex - I agree on that amount. Sometimes we do really need to do what a supplier or instructions tell us to do, don't we:grin2:
